We stayed just one night on our way to a wedding.

We stayed just one night on our way to a wedding. You can buy eggs and sausages and meat from Ted's farm shop. We had a very warm welcome but be aware that this is a working farm, so if you can't find the farmer, give him a ring and he'll ask you to settle in and catch up later. The Red Lion at Bun Lane, Great Chatwell was lovely for lunch (short drive). Mostly flat field, plenty of space, beautiful views.

We have just had a lovely break at this campsite and we enjoyed every minute of it. The owners are very friendly. Added bonus of a farmyard within metres of the campsite. Lovely to hear the chickens, peacocks, etc. The facilities are basic but extremely clean. Couldn't have asked for a better time.

What a little gem, thoroughly enjoyed our stay, Ted (the owner) was great, really friendly and excellent host. Made sure everyone was happy. Surroundings were stunning country scenery, would have been quite happy just sitting in the field and enjoying everything around us. Had little visits from the chickens who roam freely during the day, young children would love the farm with lots of pig and piglets, cows, hens and goats. Farm shop sold a good range of meats which were 1st class. I hope the weather is good in September as I shall be back again then, if not the next year.
