We were very pleasantly surprised, Our welcome was all that we might have hoped for.

This review is for Oswestry, Cranberry Moss

We were very pleasantly surprised, Our welcome was all that we might have hoped for. The facilities and infrastructure all on target. The staff were very helpful. There was no problem with out of hours coming and going. The location is ideal for hill-going, rambling or self-indulgence in Shrewsbury. The Old Three Pigeons staff were extremely welcoming and helpful, particularly with C C C members. We would come again to this site.

We don't usually use club sites as we prefer the less regimented cs sites, but after asking on arrival if we could choose our pitch and asked what we wanted we were given the pitch we would have chosen ourselves. The wardens were friendly and helpful and kept the place very neat and tidy. When I went into ask for a recommendation for somewhere to eat the The Old Three Pigeons at Nescliffe was suggested and a voucher for a 10% discount was offered, it was their Spanish night and food was brilliant and not over priced, it was very busy though so make sure to book. It probably won't make us book club sites more often as they are very expensive and we are very happy with the 5 van sites at a more modest price.

Just returned from a very enjoyable three night stay at this site.

Just returned from a very enjoyable three night stay at this site. The site is very easy to get to and from the minute we arrived the staff were very friendly and helpful. We were positioned close to the toilet/shower/washing facilities which were very clean and tidy, and there were also a couple of dog walks. The British Ironworks Centre is close by and I would highly recommend a visit, it is like a Safari Park but the animals are made from Iron, and there is also a showroom for other ironworks, and the food in the cafe was well worth the visit. Both Shrewsbury and Oswestry are within easy reach too. Thank you to all the on site staff for a lovely time.

Our visits in 2015 and 2016 were fairly good but the criticisms we had were poor condition of roads on the site, neglected gardens and unwelcoming female receptionist. We visited again in April 2017 hoping to see improvements. Alas nothing had changed. It seemed that the Managers did not really enjoy their job. Not up to Club standards.
