We chose this site to break the journey back home from our week in Wales. It is easily found and although the facilities are good, it cannot be described as really peaceful as the sound of the nearby A 5 never goes away. Also ,as all the site roads are gravel there is almost constant noise and dust rising, even if you are walking by.. The pitches are good, as you would expect from a c&c site, but the layout of the site means that you will get neighbours to each side and also to the rear and to the front. All things considered , it served its purpose, and we would visit again for a short stay. There is much to explore in this lovely part of the world.

We chose this site because of reviews and the fact that it had Wifi access - very important as my husband is a GCSE examiner. On arrival we were greeted by a very helpful guy who showed us to a good pitch. On discovering that the Wifi was not working, my husband, and then I was told by a very rude woman that they were very busy and there was nothing she could do about it. The Wifi continued to work only intermittently throughout the day/night which meant we had to leave early am. The issue was not so much about the Internet access, more about being made to feel we were being a nuisance to even ask for information about it. The facilities on the site are adequate. Washroom has a single hand towel for everyone to use. All in all, we were very disappointed as we had travelled 2 hours for what we had hoped would be a peaceful weekend.

Friendly welcome by the younger warden, went out of his way and couldn't do enough for you.

This review is for Oswestry, Cranberry Moss

Friendly welcome by the younger warden, went out of his way and couldn't do enough for you. However the older warden needs lessons in charm and customer service. Nice small site, however traffic was noisy and helicopters from nearby RAF base a bit annoying.
