We ended up staying at Brook House Farm for much longer than we anticipated- the Friday night barbeque was a great get together event for everyone on the site.
The emphasis is on families with younger children and our two (5 and 4) had a great time looking for crayfish in the brook and generally running around with the other kids who were there.
Facilities are pretty minimal and a shower would have been nice but is far from necessary when campervanning.
The local town has all sorts of wonderful shops and there's lots of places to go and things to do either in Church Stretton or a short to medium drive away. It's a great centralised rural hub to work around.
We're looking forward to returning as there's still plenty of the surrounding area to explore and it'll be good to see Dan and Mel again.

Great place to explore the surrounding area. By car, bike or foot.
Two pubs serving food within a few miles and a third opening late September, five minutes walk from campsite.
Even though it rained while I was their , I found it a charming place to stay. Will definitely return.

A last minute decision to camp in Shropshire and found this site through a Google search whilst looking for another we visited before. Fairly easy to find and just off main road through village. Met by the owners Dan and Mel and made to feel very welcome. A number of other families were already set up and were introduced to everyone. That evening we had a communal BBQ organised by the owners and had a blast. All very civilised and pleasant.
The site has been recently taken under new ownership and whilst its has been neglected in past, is showing great potential with new showers and washroom promised plus an extended area to spread everyone out more. Very relaxed atmosphere and good value.
Overall we were quite happy here and would recommend it to young families & couples.

I stayed one night and was made very welcome. It's peaceful and in beautiful countryside. I went cycling on arrival and all the next day. It was no trouble to leave my camper parked for the day after check out.
The site is kept very clean and tidy. Grass mown regularly.
A shower and hot water would be a welcome addition though for me was not necessary as my stay was short.
