Our Luss Club campsite is located on the western shore of the beautiful Loch Lomond at the southern end of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. Its stunning views across the Loch and the park make it one of the Club’s most beautiful sites.

Our site is nestled in the conservation village of Luss which is a tourist attraction in its own right with a sandy beach, pier and regular boat tours. Picture perfect Luss was also the location of long running Scottish soap “Take the High Road” and has an excellent pubs, eateries and local shops.

Base yourself at this 90-pitch campsite and you’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to things to do. Walking and cycling are possible direct from the site and boat launching is possible for those with small non-motorised craft. For the more adventurous there are also hill walking and canyoning opportunities. While Loch Lomond itself is popular for canoeing, water skiing, bathing and picnicking, or simply sitting back and soaking up the atmosphere.

A bus stop just 500m from the site, and train station in nearby Balloch make a day trip to Glasgow possible from Luss. For family days out there is Balloch Castle Country Park and the Loch Lomond Sea Life Aquarium, Balloch or take a boat trip to Inchcailloch, one of the Loch’s islands with its own nature reserve.

Beautiful site in a truely lovely area.

Beautiful site in a truely lovely area. Canoed to several deserted islands with sandy beaches and swam in the sunshine. Thats refreshing I hear you say on both counts. Luss a lovely place with lovely people. I would highly recommend this site even with the road noise. A must is a drive to Kilin to see the falls but drive back clockwise and gasp at the natural beauty. I love Scotland!!!!

Staying 2 nights so we could go to a wedding at the hotel next to the site hence our decision to stay here. Being august it was busy and we were put in a pitch between the campers field and the toilets. The ground surrounding the pitch was very muddy so we had a constant stream of campers walking right next to the van. We asked if there was the option to swap pitches and told no (the pitch next to us was free and the people who arrived later that night only stayed the same as us so no idea why they were given preference). They did put up some tape to try to direct campers to the "path" which was partially blocked by the next pitch's boat and bikes but all this did was mean the campers came even closer to the van. VERY INTRUSIVE and inconsiderate campers but I do feel the people running the site could have done more. Anyway despite this Luss is lovely.

Really enjoyed this site.

Really enjoyed this site. Toilets are clean and warm, yes maybe getting a bit dated but maintained to a high level. Staff were most welcoming and went out of way to engage in conversations with us. Plenty of walks from the site and bus connections less than 10 minutes walk to travel further afield. The village of Luss is lovely and very dog friendly too. There is a hotel and cafe/bistro which are great for a drink or food too. Will be back sometime soon to relax. Remember "midgy" lotion.
