Nice site. Arrived on the day it opened for Easter and were warmly welcomed and given a choice of hard-standing stances. Great views over loch towards Ben Lomond.
Clean well-cared for facilities on site
5 minute walk into local picturesque village - shop, caf, hotels - and easy access to Loch Lomond boat trips around and across loch. Luss itself is something of a tourist honey pot but you wouldn't really realise it from the site as it lies a few minutes walk to the north. Site close to main road but sound not particularly obtrusive.
Good touring hub for Loch Lomond, Glasgow, Argyll and the Trossachs. And fantastic moonrises across the loch

I tried to stay at Luss over Easter but it was fully booked. Elaine gave me helpful alternative advice and we were accommodated elsewhere. Finally we got a pitch at Luss at the last minute at the end of our Scotland holiday. It was such a beautiful spot on the very edge of the Lake and so private. We had an easy walk to all town amenities, restaurants etc and the power showers were amazing! I would thoroughly recommend a visit to Luss campsite.

My husband and I visited Luss Campsite in September 2014 whilst on our honeymoon. The wardens were all very friendly and welcoming. The site is well maintained and all the facilities were good. The toilet blocks were all clean and warm and the washup area of laundry were good too.
Our pitch was large and close to the Loch Lomond shore which was excellent.
We enjoyed our stay. Thanks.
