Luss Club Site is located in one of the most beautiful areas in Scotland, on the banks of Loch Lomond.
Our Luss Club campsite is located on the western shore of the beautiful Loch Lomond at the southern end of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. Its stunning views across the Loch and the park make it one of the Club’s most beautiful sites.

Walking and cycling are possible direct from the site and boat launching is possible for those with small non-motorised craft. For the more adventurous there are also hill walking and canyoning opportunities. While Loch Lomond itself is popular for canoeing, water skiing, bathing and picnicking, or simply sitting back and soaking up the atmosphere.
A bus stop just 500m from the site, and train station in nearby Balloch make a day trip to Glasgow possible from Luss. Myself and my partner camped here for one night while on route to Fort William. We couldn't have asked for a better stop-over than the Luss site. The whole area was truly stunning. The campsite from what we saw during our brief stay was immaculate and seemed to have everything we may have needed had we stayed longer. Steve & Christine, the lovely people who help to maintain the site made us feel more than welcome when we arrived, and were very helpful when showing us to our pitch as well as checking to see if we were ok settling in. We had a number of really friendly chats with some of the other residents (and with Steve!). A very short walk from the site took us to a lovely place to eat, shop and take some photos. The only minor negative to the site was as others have mentioned, the traffic noise from the adjacent A82. However, the many positives of the site and it's staff, and the views of the loch and the surrounding area far outweigh this very slight inconvenience. Sincere thanks to Steve & Christine. Hope to see you both when we stay again in the not too distant future!
All the best
Steve & Maureen

Despite the traffic on the A28 we enjoyed our stay. A short walk into Luss which is full of history as well as good eateries. Visit the Church and history of
Pilgramage, also quiet natural burial area over the bridge. Ideal stop-over for going further North or on the way back into England.
Take own pipes and tap adaptors to make it easier for water tank
filling - suggest this for all UK sites.

On arrival we were shown to our pitch but on reflection we decided to move to one of the other pitches offered to us initially. The grass adjacent to the first pitch was very boggy and muddy. A member of staff then approached us in an abrupt manner stating we can.t just move around pitches at our leisure. He also commented on the size of our Caravan stating it was bigger than the dimensions stated in the booking. Booking was done via call centre and van size was quoted correctly. The Caravan club (who I am also a member) keep records of my exact make and model of van so this is never an issue when booking with them. Maybe this organisation can learn from this. We only stayed two nights of the planned three. Hope it's better the next time we visit.

I wish we had booked longer at this site. The facilities where clean and well maintained, the loch was right on your doorstep, village shops, restuarant and boats were within walking distance and there is also a little park for the kids. Our kids loved it plus as parents it was nice and relaxing. Steve was great always around on his bike if we needed anything
