Walking and cycling are possible direct from the site and boat launching is possible for those with small non-motorised craft. For the more adventurous there are also hill walking and canyoning opportunities. While Loch Lomond itself is popular for canoeing, water skiing, bathing and picnicking, or simply sitting back and soaking up the atmosphere.

A bus stop just 500m from the site, and train station in nearby Balloch make a day trip to Glasgow possible from Luss. A lovely site, well maintained.

A lovely site, well maintained. The only negative would be the lack of a grey water disposal point for motorhomes otherwise a lovely location on the shores of the loch. A leisurely walk into the lovely village of Luss.

I had a tent pitch just a few metres from the loch shore and it is very beautiful and was great for putting my canoe in. Unfortunately it is let down a bit by the road noise from the A82 which passes directly past the campsite. Also during my stay there were constant wedding parties in the hotel next to the campsite which went on till the very early hours of the morning, 4-33am to be precise. I can put up with the road noise but to have music thumping out past midnight and shouting till 4-33am is not acceptable. The campsite managers were very good and helpful and could not be faulted for the noise, (and they worked hard till around 11-30pm handling strangers coming onto the campsite from the wedding parties) but the constant wedding parties needs to be addressed by the club. The hotel and bar next to the club is on a fantastic location, although it is very expensive it is well worth a visit (during the day!!) to the veranda overlooking the loch. The site is all flat and well grassed, the facilities are slightly dated, but clean and everything worked as it should. Lots and lots to do and if you have a canoe or small boat it is fantastic exploring the myriad of islands on the loch, a real adventure! I like peace and quiet to get away from things, so would love to go back but the night time noise due the wedding parties will put me off.

We all enjoyed staying at luss very much and have made great memories for my children. Everyone was welcoming, friendly and warm. Beautiful scenic spot and just a short walk to luss village. Great walks nearby and we visited the falls of falloch that was a short drive away. Thank you for making it a lovely experience for us

This was our first stop mo our 2 week tour of the west coast of Scotland. We had been here before about 12 years ago, and not much had changed. I think it needs a bit of a tidy up, it just didn't seem quite right, I can't put my finger on what wasn't right. The wardens were very helpful, and I can't fault them. We arrived in torrential rain, and they still had time for a chat in the rain. It's ideal if you have water based holidays, as we were kayaking it was ideal as it took a minute to get the kayaks in the loch. Only downside was the midges. My hubby was eaten alive, we did use the Avon, stuff but it didn't work for him, and after arriving at Loch Ness was advised to get Smidge, which worked perfectly.
