Overview
Priory Mill Farm is located in the Brecon Beacons National Park (Bannau Brycheiniog). It is situated just ten minutes’ walk from the Georgian town of Brecon. It dates back beyond the sixteenth century and still strongly evokes a true sense of past times, with its cobbled courtyard between the miller’s house and the Grade II* corn mill, behind which runs the River Honddu, a ‘Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI).The river Honddu runs the entire length of the camping meadow on which the tent campers are able to choose their own spot. The campervan area is situated at the far end of the site on grassed hard standing where up to four small campervans are able to pitch at a time.’
This is a Certificated Site (CS). These select sites are small, privately run campsites that operate under the Club’s jurisdiction and can only accommodate up to 5 caravans or motorhomes and up to 10 trailer tents or tents*, unless express permission has been given by the Club to accommodate more. They range from secluded Hideaways to fully facilitated family-friendly sites, and are often found in locations where larger commercial sites are prohibited so you could be camping close to a beach or in the National Park, for example.
*Tents are not permitted on some CS sites in Scotland.
