Lovely CS - great location. Great little site, perfect for our needs.

Lovely CS - great location. Great little site, perfect for our needs. We are a family with a caravan with 2 small children who were perfectly safe exploring the field and playing on their bikes. Great base for exploring Pembrokeshire and beyond. The site is just outside the village and there are some lovely walks to the beach, castle and village - we seemed to find a new path through the woods every time. The castle is definitely worth a visit and the local pub was perfectly acceptable for lunch. The local Nisa shop is well-stocked and has everything you could need. Kelpie is a small, quiet site and each caravan pitch has EHU, its own water point and drainage. We were the only caravan on site over Easter, along with a couple of campers and a few tents. The toilets and showers looked perfectly acceptable (although we didn't use them as we are self-sufficient). We would definitely return and intend to do so.

A small site within easy walking distance to village centre where there is a post office and general store. Castle and beach also a short walk through woodland paths or along the road. Good access by road to Tenby and Pembroke. We always receive a warm welcome at this small quiet family run site. The pitches as reasonably flat for tents and level for caravans with plenty of electrical hook ups available. Local bacon and eggs from the owners hens can be ordered on site. We have stayed several times as the quiet retreat feeling suits our requirements. We are already booked in for 2017.

Peaceful, well kept site. We stayed for 9 nights at the beginning of September. We were welcomed and given a choice of pitches. The site was well kept and as the Schools had gone back nice and quiet, perfect for us. The facilities are porta cabins, 2 toilets and 2 showers but don't be put off by this they are cleaned about 3 times a day, and are far cleaner than some more permanent toilet blocks we've been in. There are some lovely walks nearby, which our dog Barney loved. You can order Pembrokeshire bacon, eggs and Home-made bread which is deliverd fresh to your caravan/tent in the morning, the bacon is the best we've ever tasted. Manorbier village has a small nisa shop in which you can get just about anything you need. There is a cafe and a pub. All about 10-15 mins walk from the site. We also found a fish and chip shack at Buttyland not 5 mins drive away. We thoroughly recommend a visit to the Castle and if you like castles Pembroke castle is also well worth a visit. We also enjoyed walking down Bosherton Lily ponds, and they do a lovely cream tea at the cafe In Bosherton. There is so much to see and do in this area and we will definitely be returning to this site to continue exploring.
