There are stunning views from our campsite near Pembrokeshire's Heritage Coast in south Wales.

If you’re looking for a campsite with stunning sea views, magnificent sunsets and stunning walks our St David’s Club campsite could be for you. Just a mile from the Heritage Coast, visitors to this attractive campsite will also have the chance to enjoy the area’s historic buildings, traditional arts and crafts and plentiful wildlife.

Many of this attractive campsite’s 40 pitches overlook the beautiful Pembrokeshire Coast, while the others enjoy views of the surrounding farmland and rolling countryside. Facilities are well maintained and there is a small site shop.

Walkers can pick up the dramatic Pembrokeshire Coast Path near the campsite and enjoy some fantastic coastal scenery and hidden coves from this undulating path. The pebble beach at Abereiddy is about a 20 minute walk from the campsite and is accessed from the path. Head north to find the Blue Lagoon and Porthgain Harbour and south for Whitesands Bay, considered to be the best surfing beach in Pembrokeshire.

The area is especially popular for water sports and coastal activities such as kayaking, surfing, wind surfing, coasteering and climbing, all of which can be done near the site with or without tuition.

St David’s itself is five miles from the campsite and has a magnificent cathedral, also worth visiting is Oriel y Parc Gallery and Visitor Centre.

We booked in for 2 nights at the last minute prior to catching ferry to Ireland from Fishguard. We had a lovely coastal walk to portgain starting from the site. This helped us unwind ready for our trip to Ireland after a long drive across the country. Good directions given by the wardens. Definitely would visit again. Easy to pick up wifi if walk ou to the coast for simple mailing on the phone. None available on site. Or tv. Radio was Welsh or Irish. So take plenty reading matter. Not a problem for us.

We were greeted by the Warden.

This review is for St Davids

We were greeted by the Warden. I telephoned before to say that we would be late, due to heavy traffic. He was most appreciative. It suited our needs for exploring the Pembrokeshire coast. We will certainly be returning. St David's town and Cathedral were most enjoyable. A good history about the slate mines in the area. Our first visit to Pembrokeshire, it certainly will not be our last. Thank you Country File for bringing it to our notice.

The wardens are excellent and a credit to the club, nothing was to much trouble and they provided service with a smile on every occasion. We will return later in the year and have no hesitation in recommending it to friends.

Easy access to the Pembrokeshire Coast Path and its magnificent scenery.

This review is for St Davids

Easy access to the Pembrokeshire Coast Path and its magnificent scenery. Sea views from the site. Site is sloping so blocks necessary. Nearby Porthgain is a must for visitors ( excellent food available in 2 venues + art gallery) and is a short distance by car or easily walked on the coast path. Site benefits from being on a bus route and pick-up at the gate.
