Enjoy nature walks, cycle trails and the Peak District from this site.

Our award-winning Club campsite at Teversal is surrounded by gloriously varied walking country. Opposite, the Silverhill Wood Country Park offers direct access to the Teversal Trails and miles of walking and cycling paths. Further afield the walking and cycling trails of the Derbyshire Dales and Peak District offer more challenges through ever changing scenery.

Teversal is an established campsite. Hedges and greenery pepper the site which boasts fantastic amenities: auto sensor power showers, individual washrooms with shower, toilet and sink, parent and child facilities, a well-equipped laundry and washing up area and children’s play area. The shop is well stocked and morning papers are available. There’s even a dog/bike shower.

If you can tear yourself away from the campsite, there are numerous attractions close by. The National Trust’s Hardwick Hall and Chatsworth House and Gardens are within easy reach as is Bolsover Castle and Newstead Abbey, the former home of the poet Lord Byron.

Water lovers are catered for at the National Watersports Centre which offers white water rafting, wake boarding, water skiing, sailing and more. Families will love Water Meadows Family Fun pool with slides and wave machine situated in Mansfield.

This review is for Teversal

We visited this site at the end of September, beginning of October. The site is attractively laid out with all hard standing pitches. It was pleasant and quiet which is what we wanted. The site managers were pleasant and extremely helpful. The toilet/shower block was outstanding the best we've encountered at any sites we have visited. The site is well placed for walking/cycling and visiting excellent attractions such as Hardwick Hall, Chatsworth and Bolsover Castle.

During our stay we walked to Hardwick Hall and back.

This review is for Teversal

During our stay we walked to Hardwick Hall and back. Which is a pleasant walk especially from Teversal as you enter Hardwick estate near the Old Hall and the stable block. The local Country pub The Caernarvon Arms is just down the lane from the site and is very nice and does very good food.I would recommend this site as a very good one to stay at for the closeness to so many great attractions in the Peak district and surrounding area.

“Luxury with a capital L. We were lucky to get a late booking which I am sure is only because word has not go out yet. Judging by the attention they were drawing from other campers it will soon! Thanks to Jayne and Chris for a wonderful weekend.”
