This is a Listed Site (LS) that is licensed by the Local Authority and not under the jurisdiction of The Camping and Caravanning Club. These range from large parks with bars, swimming pools and entertainment to small, quiet commercial sites. The Club cannot approve or recommend Listed Sites, these are simply provided to give you more choice. It's worth checking when booking as some sites offer members a discount on pitch fees.

Pembroke Caravan Park is situated in the village of Leeming Bar, two miles from the small market town of Bedale known as "The Gateway to the Dales" and six miles from Northallerton, the County town of North Yorkshire. We are easily placed for touring the Yorkshire Dales & Moors but have many attractions more locally. Within walking distance of the site there is the recently restored Wensleydale Railway which provides picturesque days out travelling up to the market town of Leyburn via Bedale. Within the caravan park there are many facilities available to our guests including shower and toilet block, electic hook-up points and washing up facilities. The village of Leeming Bar is home to two village pubs which provide a variety of home cooked foods including traditional sunday carvery. There are a wide range of places to visit in the local area including one of the UKs leading themeparks; Lightwater Valley and the historic market town of Richmond.

Stayed for 2 nights over the Easter bank holiday.

This review is for Pembroke Caravan Park

Stayed for 2 nights over the Easter bank holiday. Even though there was only one shower there was never a queue and didnt seem to be a problem. The facilities were very clean and couldnt be faulted. Seemed to be mainly seasonal caravans and older couples, not overly suitable for children as there was little for them to do and I spent a lot of my time asking them to be quiet. Would go back for an overnight stay though or stop off point.

  • Towing: Easy
  • Location: Country
  • Suitable For: Older couples,Peaceful break
  • Friendliness: 4
  • Cleanliness: 5
  • Facilities: 4
