This site is very convenient, particularly as a midweek stopover when travelling up or down the A1. It is very well laid out and beautifully maintained. The owner couldn't be more pleasant and helpful. The site is less than a mile from junction 51 which does make it subject to traffic noise at busy periods. The dog walk is across a road, which is sometimes quite busy. Those two factors aside this is a little gem of a site, especially if you have no dogs and are not bothered by traffic noise.

Stayed for 2 nights over the Easter bank holiday.

This review is for Pembroke Caravan Park

Stayed for 2 nights over the Easter bank holiday. Even though there was only one shower there was never a queue and didnt seem to be a problem. The facilities were very clean and couldnt be faulted. Seemed to be mainly seasonal caravans and older couples, not overly suitable for children as there was little for them to do and I spent a lot of my time asking them to be quiet. Would go back for an overnight stay though or stop off point.
