Located in the North York Moors National Park, Cote Gyhll is a beautiful family Park in an idyllic valley setting next to a stream. The Park is divided by terraces and areas of woodland providing sections on the Park with varying character to suit a range of caravanners and campers. For those who prefer tranquillity there are quiet areas. Our pitches include all-weather hardstands, grass, astroturf or super pitches, all with electric. Our facilities are 5* and include two luxury shower blocks with underfloor heating, private wash cubicles, disabled room & a family bathroom. We take pride in ensuring that they are to a continuous high standard of cleanliness. The two children’s play areas are adjacent to the stream which is a perfect exploring ground. Cote Ghyll is 0.25 mile from the historic village of Osmotherley which has 3 pubs/restaurants and village shops. The traditional market town of Northallerton is 6 miles. There is a vast network of public footpaths and cycles routes from the gateway of the Park leading to the Moors. The picturesque Cod Beck Reservoir is 10 mins walk from the Park. Cote Ghyll is perfectly located for exploring the Moors, coast and cities of North Yorkshire.

Great site for walking - very clean We stayed on the site along with others (in tents) who were there to do the Lyke Wake Walk. Our job was to collect them from the other end - Ravenscar - and bring them back. While there, we walked to Mount Grace Priory, Cod Beck reservoir, locally and also had a lovely Sunday dinner in the Queen Catherine. We also used the local shop in the village, and pre-booked the papers for the weekend. To use the toilet/shower blocks, there was a code, and once inside, they were immaculate every time. The site was very busy, but large enough so that kids could cycle/scoot around happily. There is a play park - we didn't have any kids with us, but it looked very safe and enjoyable. We could not get a TV signal, so resorted to playing Scrabble!

Warden was very helpful and friendly. Some problems with wifi signal. Local town of Osmotherley was great but due to narrow roads and street parking, towing a caravan through has the potential to be entertaining! Great dog friendly pubs and our dog loved all the rabbits on the site!
