We had two nights at the campsite with our two young children, we had a lovely pitch at the bottom of the site overlooking the stream and fields with a variety of neighbours! It was peaceful and private and very beautiful, we couldn't recommend it highly enough. The facilities were good and very clean and the owners friendly and very professional, we will definitely be visiting again.

We chose this site for convenience (we have relatives nearby) and we couldn't have picked anywhere better. First of all, the owners were so friendly and helpful. Secondly, the amenities were excellent and scrupulously clean. Thirdly, the site is very peaceful, despite there being quite a few caravans and tents on the site. And last, but certainly not least, the views are superb.
My favourite thing was the information centre which is situated in a little summerhouse in a secluded part of the garden. It is filled to overflowing with leaflets and there is also a bookshelf full of books - and the owners have thoughtfully furnished it with two very comfortable chairs in which to sit and read or simply take in the views.
We shall certainly be making several return visits.

We have been to this site twice now and we rate it very highly, The owners are very friendly and welcoming, there is a summerhouse in a secluded garden with all the leaflets about the attractions in the surrounding area, the facilities are very clean,in fact the whole site is exceptionally clean and well cared for. we have 2 dogs and there are adjoining fields in which to exercise them (on the lead ) well spaced between pitches and we have met some very friendly people on site during our stays. Leyburn is a short distance away ,can be walked , with an abundance of shops, takeaways, restaurants etc. Would recommend !!
