We were made to feel most welcome and picked up masses of very useful local information from Jeff. This site is new and once the toilet and shower block are completed I suspect that this site will be very, very popular.

The site is perfectly flat, with newly laid and well spaced hard standings. There are goats, sheep and donkeys in the adjacent field. Close to the A69, but not bother from road noise. Well placed for the tourist attractions of Hadrian's wall and Northumberland. Jeff and Sheila gave us a very warm welcome, full of help and advice on local facilities and attractions - plus their own free range eggs! Toilet block promised for next year.

We were 3 mums. Looking for a first time away together camping trip.. A peaceful. In the countryside away from town and family life.. We were welcomed here by the friendly owners. Given an idea of places to go.. We were directed to the local village. Within walking distance. But over the very busy dual carriageway if you have children. The village has a tea shop my friends needed their cuppas lol.. Local pub served a realy lovely Sunday 3 course lunch. We were very impressed at the home made meals..and a pottery worth looking at... All very friendly.. We made a few friends on this short visit.. We were made very welcome and will be visiting again.. Highly recommended.. Even though the site had no toilet or shower.. That wavering installed in a couple of weeks.. in time for our next visit.. :)
