a super little site with a lovely friendly feel. you are left alone if you wish. watching passing boats is very pleasant and the bird-life is splendid. the owner has dedicated himself to improving this excellent site, without spoiling it. chill out and give it a try. we love and we will be back soon.

The owner is extremely helpful and very relaxed.

The owner is extremely helpful and very relaxed. It is a cheap and cheerful site and if fishing is your thing there is a pleasant lake. The site is next to a canal mooring, so you get the odd canal boat chugging past. Yes the trainline is close to the site, but this didn't bother us, but the trains are fast and infrequent, and gone before you know it. Would definitely recommend this site

Had a night at this site last week and very pleased with how friendly the site owner was.

Had a night at this site last week and very pleased with how friendly the site owner was. As others have said it is very noisy when the Virgin trains speed past only 20 yards from the site but they did have less overnight trains so had a good nights sleep. Did a very nice walk of about 5 miles direct from the site part along the canal and rest over fields.
