Pitch up in the grounds of the secluded Sandringham Estate.

Sandringham Club campsite is in a delightfully secluded spot, within the grounds of the Royal Estate in Norfolk. Campers will love the tranquillity offered by this woodland site where many pitches are set among trees.

Away from the site nature and RSPB reserves and the sandy beaches of the north Norfolk coast including Hunstanton and Brancaster will keep all family members entertained.

You won’t have to venture to far from your unit to find things to do at this Club Site. The Sandringham Estate, the country retreat of Her Majesty The Queen, has more than 60 acres of gardens and 600 acres of woodland and heath – over a quarter of which make up the country park which is open to the public. There’s also a visitor centre, a restaurant and a museum of royal memorabilia and vehicles.

Quiet roads and forest tracks around the site are ideal for walkers and dog walkers. Cyclists too can enjoy the quiet roads and Norfolk Coast Cycleway which passes the site.

Our second visit to this site and we will definitely return as soon as we can.

Our second visit to this site and we will definitely return as soon as we can. Firstly the welcome; other site wardens could do with taking lessons from Ian and Margaret because their welcome is just how it should be. Warm, friendly, efficient, informative and with a smile. All contact with both of them and the assistants was the same. They are a credit to the club. The site is enormous but with a small site feel to it. Acres of space, large pitches, I can imagine that even when full this site would still feel spacious. There are pitches to suit every taste from shady to sunny, in the trees, under the trees, away from the trees. The whole place oozes relaxation and peace. If as we do, you enjoy nature and its noise then this is the site for you. Owls hooting and screeching throughout the night, wonderful, plus lots of rabbits running about, deer very close by and the foxes even paid a visit one night. If you are bothered by real countryside sounds then this is not the site for you! Set in a great area for cycling and walking but if on a bike don't believe the old fallacy that Norfolk is flat, it isn't! Fabulous beaches close by at so many places including Hunstanton, Holmes Dunes, Thornham, Titchwell and Brancaster. Lots of RSPB and Norfolk Wildlife Trust places to visit plus all the very picturesque villages. Oh yes and there's a big house up the road inhabited by a monarch. I cannot praise this site enough. The facilities are clean and the site is well kept and cared for. Idyllic.

We will definitely visit again and as we had picked up our new motorhome this was our first experience in this country. My wife who is like a lot of ladies quiet fussy about toilet facilities was impressed because they were so warm and clean,if this is the standard set elsewhere then I'm in clover! We'll done all round .

A site we regularly visit.

This review is for Sandringham

A site we regularly visit. Although a large rather rambling site it always has an air of peace and easy going tranquility. The dog and I spend hours in the woods just rambling all the various paths. Also the walk to Dersingham is a lovely one. This year we were rather late in taking holidays so it was very quiet but the service and maintenance of the facilities was still first class. Normally we visit lots of the local attractions but this year we had a very quiet time and Sandringham is ideal for this.
