Pitch up in the grounds of the secluded Sandringham Estate.

Sandringham Club campsite is in a delightfully secluded spot, within the grounds of the Royal Estate in Norfolk. Campers will love the tranquillity offered by this woodland site where many pitches are set among trees.

Away from the site nature and RSPB reserves and the sandy beaches of the north Norfolk coast including Hunstanton and Brancaster will keep all family members entertained.

You won’t have to venture to far from your unit to find things to do at this Club Site. The Sandringham Estate, the country retreat of Her Majesty The Queen, has more than 60 acres of gardens and 600 acres of woodland and heath – over a quarter of which make up the country park which is open to the public. There’s also a visitor centre, a restaurant and a museum of royal memorabilia and vehicles.

Quiet roads and forest tracks around the site are ideal for walkers and dog walkers. Cyclists too can enjoy the quiet roads and Norfolk Coast Cycleway which passes the site.

Worth Noting

The site is now fully digital and TV reception is good.

We have been frequent visitors of this site for the last ten years.

We have been frequent visitors of this site for the last ten years. We always enjoy the space and the peace, especially outside school holidays, but it is a great place for kids. Car needed as nothing local unless you like long walks. This year was spoilt by the awful stench from the sewage works at the bottom of the site, usually our preferred location. The club should really take a good look at the present system of sewage disposal as it will put off new visitors for sure. We may not be back next year, hopefully something can be done about the sewage odours in our absence.

We spent 7 nights here with our 5 year old grandson.

We spent 7 nights here with our 5 year old grandson. He enjoyed the freedom a fully fenced and gated site provided. Good play areas, safe cycling and lots of other children to play with. The site is well looked after and presented well. All the facilities are warm and clean. The visit from the fish and chip van adds a bit of fun.

Greeted by friendly staff who gave us a choice of pitches, thankfully we didnt pick one at far end, as the stench from the sewerage tanks was unbearable. Showers and toilets kept clean. Only one hair dryer in block. We were surprised how empty the site was during our 3 week stay. Most people stopped for a couple of nights and moved on. Surrounding woodland has limited trails through if cycling and you soon encounter a road. Transport is needed for off site facilities as none are within easy walking distance. Having 2 teenage boys, they found the site limiting, although emphasis being "teenage". The shop is just a small corner of reception which we found expensive, all shopping done off site at local supermarkets, plenty to choose from.

This was our 4th visit to this site.

This review is for Sandringham

This was our 4th visit to this site. Although large, the site never seems overcrowded, even when full. There are 3 wash blocks on site which helps to ensure minimal queuing for showers. These facilities are well maintained by the site team. This year's team were very friendly and helpful. Since out last visit the site has added quite a number of hard standings on the site. There are still grass pitches but on some of these the grass was getting worn (or non existent) as we were well into the season. The shop that used to be just off site is no longer there, (although there is a shop now in reception). Apparently it finally closed when rabbits burrowed underneath and made the foundations unsafe!). Site is on the Royal Estate so a visit to Sandringham house is easy. It is not far from Kings Lynn, Hunstanton (Sunny Hunny) and also Snettisham Park Farm
