This review is for Bridge Farm

This is a new and developing site with an a amenities block under construction. It is located close to the train into Liverpool and Manchester and adjacent to a fine country pub. The site is situated in a field on the farm with hard standings for caravans and motorhomes. Janette and John were warm and welcoming and were attentive to our needs ensuring that our stay was a happy one. Despite the site not offering electricity at this time they went to great lengths to ensure that our motorhome had power for our five day stay. Our pitch was peaceful, in an idyllic, rustic setting where Janette showed a genuine interest in our travels and provided accurate and timely advice about local attractions and public transport.

We found this site very welcoming & relaxing.

We found this site very welcoming & relaxing. We enjoyed the beautiful aspect of the field & surrounding countryside. If having a quiet drink is your thing then there's a wonderful pub just 30seconds walk from the site entrance over the bridge that serves great food with regular entertainment & fantastic staff & regulars. Ormskirk is very close by with a great market. Southport has something for the whole family & also there's the wonderful beach, dunes & nature reserve at Formby. We would highly recommend this great little farm site, they've not been open long but have left a lasting impression on us. We'll be back soon. Thanks for a lovely stay. Sam & Mel

Stayed here for a night and we were the first! It is a new site and when established it will be a bit of a hidden gem.. The Railway Station 2min walk goes into Liverpool (15mins) or Wigan and Manchester. The Junction pub across the road serves real ale and has good food (dogs welcome!!). A convenience store is also on the doorstep.
