    Top site for photography

Our campsite is beautifully located under the big skies of Lincolnshire.

Lincolnshire’s coast and countryside is waiting to be explored from our pretty Woodhall Spa Club campsite located in the Fenlands area of the county. The site enjoys a quiet, rural setting near the Edwardian town of the same name and accommodates some 90 units. It is bordered by trees and offers some secluded pitches. There is a lake on site and you’re likely to share your pitch with a variety of wildlife including rabbits and wild birds such as woodpeckers and moorhens.

The Edwardian town of Woodhall Spa is within walking distance and offers several places to eat. The Cottage Museum tells the history of the local community and the Kinema in the woods – a unique two-screen cinema – is open seven days a week.

For sandy beaches head to the popular resort of Skegness and Chapel St Leonards, both brimming with activities to keep the whole family entertained. In contrast the peaceful Lincolnshire Wolds provide a landscape of rolling hills and gentle valleys, perfect for walking, cycling and wildlife watching. The market towns of Market Rasen, Louth, Horncastle and Spilsby provide a range of shops, eating places.

Air enthusiasts will enjoy the Battle of Britain Air Museum at RAF Coningsby and the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre at East Kirkby. Other local attractions include Lincoln Castle and Tattershall Castle, a dramatic red brick tower managed by the National Trust.

Great site for exploring the area.

Great site for exploring the area. Would recommend dog walks in Other's plantation at the top of the road; a visit to the Kinema in the Woods, which still has a half way interval with an organist playing. Brilliant! Also a visit to the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, to see WW2 Lancaster Bomber, Spitfires and Hurricanes. Lincoln very nearby. Chose from open field pitch or secluded in the wooded area. Nice children's play area and ducks on the pond. All in all a lovely spot with nearby attractions and pleasant walks.

The wardens are lovely... such a warm and cheerful welcome. We discussed our pitch preference and were helped to choose one that suited. There are open and wooded areas, grass and hard standing. Whole site is cleaned and cared for. Loo block is also kept clean, my only comment would be that there could be more showers. There are only 3 in the ladies so I think if the site were busy there could be queues. Perhaps next time there's an update some of the half dozen washbasin cubicles could become showers? I think these days there is much less use of the private washbasins. All told, a great couple of days and we are thinking of going back next year with some friends who camp.

Unfortunately too isolated and not possible to walk to the local pub as distance too far and too dangerous. Also it is too far to walk into Woodhall Spa. As there are no bus stops close by the site is isolated.
