Ideal location with easy access to the east coast, Arklow Farm is a great place to stay. Quiet site with a small fishing pond and plenty of space. The facilities were well kept but there is only one shower and toilet for the men and one for the women, we wondered if there would be queues if the site was full. Other facilities like the hook up and wifi were included and all worked well. There is no play area for the children but plenty of space to explore. The owners were really welcoming and friendly, full of information about local places to eat out and what's going on. We will definitely come back!

Site entrance between buildings on the village street, then the driveway opens out and the pitches are easily reached. Each has a concrete base and paved area, with grass and a small hedge separating each pitch. Plenty of room for motorhome, awning and chairs etc. At the time the owners Gary and Hannah had only been there eight weeks. On arrival Gary showed us our pitch then came back to help us with the awning which was much appreciated. Site has a lovely fishing lake and a nine hole golf course. The weather was perfect while we were there and Gary's Mother in law was constantly seen to be working in and around the site. Everybody was always friendly and informative about the local area. There is a private beach about one and a half to two miles away, a bit of a walk on busy roads with the dog, but if in a car, there is a small car park on arrival. Well worth a visit as the sand stretches for miles, our dog loved it. The village has a pub with a nice beer garden. Our pitch neighbours had been coming to the site for a good many years and were very friendly and a pleasure to chat to. My husband, a fly fisherman was viewed by the other fisherman with some amusement, as one referred to him as "Fluff Chucking", But this was taken in good part as we were touring round Lincolnshire staying for 3 nights at four sites. There was much amusment at all the sites I have to say. I had a lovely time sitting in the sun reading, knitting and toasting my feet.

Lovely well kept site, this is a gem, fishing and golf all included in the price , we had two nights here with our grand daughter, she loved it , I had a bit of a fish then I tried to teach Carol & Lily to play golf , what a laugh we had, there are clubs and balls to use all free, the showers and toilets spotless and CH'ed lovely and warm in the morning, only downside is ,could do with extra toilet block, buses few and far between ,but only a 4 taxi ride away from Mablethorpe, We WILL be back and will recommend to our friends
