Very Good Site This is one of the best sites we have stayed at, it has good facilities, two fishing lakes, and great walks. Tracy and Nigel are lovely people. This is a brilliant site and we highly recommend it.

Just as we expected, Peaceful, clean, and very well kept site. Will be going back again. Thank you both very much. This was the first time at this site, we read all the reviews before booking, Normal thing to do, and thought lets give it a go sounds quite nice. The only problem we had for the whole 9 days is the fact one mile away from the campsite we hit a road closure, well we thought we had better let them know we might be a little late, phoned them up and spoke to Tracy, "where are you" looked around gave her the name of the junction, I know where you are wait there well be 5mins. escorted right to your pitch. you can not get better service than that. Nothing was to much trouble for them as long as we are having a nice time. the second fishing lake is nearly there, will be grate once all planting established. Home cooked cakes on site wow let me just say one of those bad boys got taken home did not last long though. my wife and myself enjoyed our stay at this site and will be going back, feel part of the family now, thanks Nigel & Tracy.

Our host Tracy was a bubbly , we were given a wealth of information about the vicinity which was very useful. The facilities were superb. We visited Ayscoughfee Hall and gardens, this was a hidden gem, full of local history with beautiful gardens and a fully stocked aviary. The next day we went to the Spalding Water Taxi company where we had a enjoyable 2 hours of tuition on handling a narrow boat from Anthony our host and pilot. After this we received a certificate showing what we had been taught. The campsite was lovely, we couldn't fault it. As far as the facilities go rthey were top notch, the biggest shower I have seen on any camp site. Also they have plans to improve it further. Will definitely be returning.

We are recently back from 5 nights on this lovely site.

We are recently back from 5 nights on this lovely site. The hosts Nigel and Tracey were fantastic hosts. We were met at the gate and given a choice of sites. We chose a pitch near the smaller lake and we're immediately greeted by the neighbours. After setting up and getting comfortable we realised it was 3pm which is 'cake time' in the barn run by Tracey. Wow! is the only word. Homemade cakes to die for. We became regular daily visitors, luckily there is plenty of walking to offset the calories. On Sunday night we went to the evening entertainment which consisted of hilarious bingo run by Nigel, a singer/comedienne, raffle and a fabulous pork supper and more cake for dessert. Also on site is a larger, newer fishing lake which attracts loads of wildlife and a lovely designated dog walk. If we had to criticise anything it would be that there is only one shower and one toilet (although they are very plush) however we understand there are future plans to add to these. Thanks for a lovely break and look forward to seeing you again next year.
