We were in the area for a wedding and chose this site, and are we glad we did it was perfect. Wendy and Maurice went out of their way to make us feel welcome. They had an information pack for us which told us everything we required about the area. The barn was very useful for the people staying in tents although we were in a caravan and didn't use it much. We felt as though we were part of the family and their hospitality was second to none. We would certainly stay there again if in the area and would highly recommend this site to others.

Me and my friend was walking the leicestershire round and got stuck for somewhere to stop. We past two walkers that recommended this site. By this time it was nearly 7pm and phoned the site thinking we had no chance of getting a night to camp. To our amazement the lady picked up the phone and was more then happy for us to stay. We got to the site and was warmly welcomed in. We was shown around the site and couldn't beleave how wonderfull the whole place was. The scenery was out of this would and so wear the facilities. A massive kitchen area for us to make tea with tables and chairs to sit around. With little food in our rucksake we were quite hungry. We asked Morris if there was any take aways near but recommended a fish and chip shop in fleckny. Not only did he recommend it he actully drove us to it to get them. Going out off his way to do this. We both thank them for a truely fantastic stay and and being the most wonderfull hosts you could wish for. I would recommend this site to anybody.
