Old Manor Farm
has the following facilities on or around the site.
Grass pitch with electric hook-up
Grass only pitch (no electric)
Chemical toilet disposal point
Childrens play area
Grass only pitch for larger tents
Wi-fi (Other provider)
Facilities that are off site within one mile of the entrance
Basic site. Really peaceful. Needs improved access to Chemical Toilet Point. Will stay there again.
Stayed for 2 weeks. Useful base for the area. Lots of interest within 1 hour including National Trust Chester Zoo and a number of nature reserves. I think site is more suited for couples as the facilities are quite basic e.g. Only one combined toilet/shower each for men & women. The approach to the toilet disposal area needs to be paved as after rain it is very slippery.

We stayed over the bank holiday weekend May 2015. Like many people we left it far to late to confirm a booking anywhere and managed to find this gem with availability.
We was quoted 13 per night so we didnt arrive with high expectations of grandure.
What we did find was a quaint, quiet, family friendly site with everything you need for a proper old school family weekend away from the hum drum of modern life. The children was not allowed any iPads or such devices and was expected to join in with the other kids. The woodland walk is an area onsite that the kids played for hours and hours, there is a small stage in the wood with little wooden seat that the kids used to perform a show that they created. There are little dens in the woodland area that kept the kids stimulated. It proved to me that you dont need all the fancy facilities that the expensive sites offer.
In 5 years of caravanning ive never seen them as happy as they was here.
The site owner is very freindly and she provides farm produce like fresh eggs, home made jam etc.
Im a little surprised at some of the comments, especially about cleanliness, the toilets are nice and clean, bear in mind the site is mostly grass so naturally mud will be tramped in during wet weather, a mop and bucket is provided which I was happy to use.
Cant wait to come back

First night we stayed toilets were kept clean, but there was only us and one other tent on site. But as it got busier they soon got dirtier. They only clean them once a day and put one look roll out. They do need to look at cleaning them more frequently. There is one room with shower and toilet for men and same again for woman and they are good sized. There is no ventilation in there unless you leave the front door open! This creates half the mess as the floor is always wet and then gets muddy - which then gets into the shower! There was a mop bucket left in the ladies but no mop. The site is lovely and quiet and safe for the kids to play. There is a play area one end and next to the field is an enclosed woods that the kids loved playing in there. Would go again, just hope the toilets improve. Christine is very welcoming and she sells produce from her porch. Showers are 50p which you leave in the honesty box.

Having spent one night here, being a hide-away site I wasn't expecting the same amenities as on larger sites....but I was expecting it to be clean. Sadly it wasn't. The Ladies toilet floor looked like it had not been cleaned for some time, and my husband told me that the gents weren't much better.Apart from there being no toilet paper ,there was a pair of ladies knickers left on the floor!! If my husband had not have already paid the10 site fee(electric hook-up was another 3 pounds extra !!) we would have left. In this years site book it stated to be rated H and IZ for 10.According to the site book it was inspected in 2012,may I suggest that another inspection is due, to save fellow club members being as disappointed as we were. We have been members for many years, but this is the first time I have given a negative review.
