Overview

This is a Certificated Site (CS). A small campsite that accepts just five caravans or motorhomes. Some of these CS’s accept tents, space permitting. CSs are often quieter, smaller places to camp, with many offering minimal facilities – ideal for when you want to get away from it all.

Tammy & Andrew gave us warm welcome.

This review is for Longfold Farm

Tammy & Andrew gave us warm welcome. Spoilt for choices when pitching, lovely nearly flat field. Shower/toilet facilities very good. Our dog enjoyed the walks from the site by the mica-lite landing strip!

The site is easy to find and Andrew and Tammy were delightful hosts showing an interest in you without being nosey. The site is a lush, flat, partly sheltered paddock area with ehu (we didn't use it) with plenty of space overlooking the countryside and we were lucky enough to spot a buzzard riding the thermals! Half of the on site portokabin hides a spotlessly clean toilet and shower room whereas the other half if emptied, could easily be converted to a 'family room' providing a sink for washing up and the likes of a kettle and toaster or even a fridge. These additions would make what is already a lovely little hideaway into a perfect away from it all location.

This was our first trip out in our new to us motorhome.

This review is for Longfold Farm

This was our first trip out in our new to us motorhome. In fact it was our first time in any motorhome. We were pleased to have the support of Andrew & Tammy the owners, who must have been smiling on the inside at our lack of knowledge about "what we should do with this?" & "where does that thing go??" We couldn't have picked a better place for our first time out. If you want a quiet & peaceful but still working farm site, this place is great. The local village is about half a mile walk away, not many shops but very nice ice cream at the antique shop which has a cafe. We use the facilities in our van, so didn't use the on site facilities other than the toilet when walking the dog, which was clean & tidy. We would certainly use this site again. Thanks again to Andrew & Tammy for their help.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here.

This review is for Longfold Farm

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. On a farm run by a young family I found everything welcoming and friendly. The campsite area was secluded, level and with toilet facilities close by. It was the kind of stay I was wanting. Amenities were close by. A bakery and pub in the village. More amenities in neighbouring village, picturesque Croston. I will definitely stay here again.
