This was our first visit to Braid Farm and on this, will not be out last. The site is easily reached from the A274 and for a CS very well sign posted. We were met by a very helpful and dedicated owner who went through all the facilities. We could sit in our van and observe the parachutists land at the nearby airfield and watch the wallabies (honest) in their pen. This is one of the sites you do really want to keep to yourself.I have only marked the facilities 3 stars as I only require hook up and do not require toilet facilities.. You can hear the occasional car pass in the distance, but I then I just turn the wife up!Smarden Bell Pub approx three quarters mile away, pub menu and real ale on tap.We did eat and can recommend. Excellent WW2 museum on Headcorn airfield.

We have just returned from a very enjoyable first break of the season at Braid Farm. Stuart welcomed us at the start and showed us to our pitch and as we were the only caravan on the site we had the pick of the pitches. The site is well laid out and we found it very relaxing. Unfortunately following the heavy rainfall in recent months our car became stuck on the site and although very late in the evening, Stuart came to our rescue with his quad bike to pull the car free. Our daughter loved the wallabies on site and we found the site very safe. The break in all was very relaxing and will defiantly be returning to Braid Farm during the summer months
