This is a Certificated Site (CS). A small campsite that accepts just five caravans or motorhomes. Some of these CS’s accept tents, space permitting. CSs are often quieter, smaller places to camp, with many offering minimal facilities – ideal for when you want to get away from it all.

This was our first visit to Braid Farm and on this, will not be out last. The site is easily reached from the A274 and for a CS very well sign posted. We were met by a very helpful and dedicated owner who went through all the facilities.
We could sit in our van and observe the parachutists land at the nearby airfield and watch the wallabies (honest) in their pen. This is one of the sites you do really want to keep to yourself.I have only marked the facilities 3 stars as I only require hook up and do not require toilet facilities.. You can hear the occasional car pass in the distance, but I then I just turn the wife up!Smarden Bell Pub approx three quarters mile away, pub menu and real ale on tap.We did eat and can recommend.
Excellent WW2 museum on Headcorn airfield.
