This is a Certificated Site (CS). These select sites are small, privately run campsites that operates under the Club’s jurisdiction and can only accommodate up to 5 caravans or motorhomes and up to 10 trailer tents or tents, unless express permission has been given by the Club to accommodate more. They range from secluded Hideaways to fully facilitated family friendly sites, and are often found in locations where larger commercial sites are prohibited so you could be camping close to a beach or in the National Park, for example.
Open all year. Dogs welcome but must be kept on leads. Camping facilities include toilets, chemical disposal point, water standpipes and shower. Sorry, no electric hook-up. Site facilities include fully licensed cafe and gift shop. Sample our traditional home-cooked food; Sunday roasts prepared with fresh vegetables, our home-baked breads, cakes and delicious clotted cream teas.
Working water mill. Small war museum and many rural exhibits. Take a walk through the ancient Oak woodlands and around our ponds; see if you can discover the dragons home.
Other pleasant suprises are punt hire on the mill stream, miniature golf on the putting green and croquet on the lawn. Feed the peacocks, ducks, doves and fish in the mill ponds.
