Kids loved being so close to beach.

This review is for Glenmore - Cairngorms

Kids loved being so close to beach. Staff really unhelpful, had one warden bang on our window one morning when kids still in bed asking where our ticket was....right beside your hand your banging with!!! The chemical disposal was full after around our 4th night, and not emptied before we left.....felt being watched a lot by wardens, as we had a dog...so didn't feel relaxing....caravans are very cramped together in certain areas...expensive for the facilities there...large site, 2 washing machines!! Good location though for visiting sites and Loch Morlich great.

Right on the shore of Loch Morlich, this site would suit anybody wanting a peaceful relaxing location right though to those wanting water-sports, walking, and biking. Beautiful surrounding area with plenty of opportunities to explore. Stock up in Aviemore if you're not planning on moving off-site.

This review is for Glenmore - Cairngorms

Having travelled from all over the country to spend a day with family and friends at the campsite , we were very disappointed by the attitude of one member of the warden staff. When four of our friends from Canada stopped off for an hour on their motorbikes , before continuing their journey round Scotland., a campsite warden came over demanding they pay 3 each. Apparently there is a rule that every visitor to the campsite should pay 3. None of us were aware of this campsite rule and therefore were surprised at the rudeness of the warden, who implied that for some reason we were avoiding paying. The visitors from Canada were very surprised by the aggressiveness of tone and the unfriendliness of this warden We were a group of about twelve people in our 50s and 60s. We had come to have a relaxing and enjoyable weekend together. The tone and attitude of this warden marred our weekend . It also gave an extremely poor impression to our visitors from Canada of the Scottish welcome . The campsite itself is of a high standard and in a wonderful location. It doesn't take too much to be friendly and welcoming..... people react so much better. You can then ask for your 3 and it's a win win situation.
