The secluded, woodland setting of our Theobalds Park Club campsite belies its location just inside London’s orbital M25 motorway. Although just off the M25 the campsite is
in the heart of the Hertfordshire countryside. The nearby Lee Valley Park will appeal to nature lovers, walkers, cyclists and fishermen. While further west woodland, grassland, heath, rivers and ponds make up the vast expanse of Epping Forest, the largest public open space in the London area.
At just 15 miles from the capital this campsite is an excellent base from which to explore London. Catch a train from Waltham Cross to enjoy the city’s fantastic shopping, varied eateries and bars and landmarks such as Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, Buckingham Palace, the London Eye, Tower Bridge, Olympic Park and more.

Access and SatNav Advice
Site is outside the Congestion Charge Zone. To avoid the Low Emissions Zone, follow directions from junction 25 of the M25. Take A10 towards Enfield and London. Take all available right turns when coming from M25. There's no access through hotel grounds.

Did not need to go into London. Pub a bit pricey. Not going there for a meal. Site very good. Warden and assistant very good, and helpful.

Arrived a little before the 4.00 p.m. opening time, and were warmly welcomed and offered a choice of sites. Facilities excellent, clean and warm - and the site staff very helpful as was awaiting a Courier Package. Would certainly stay again - highly recommended.

The manager Keith is very helpful so are the staff nothing is to much including opening the shop when not open the best pub for food is the pied bull which is 20 mins walk from site
