Friendly site, lovely views, great size, nice shower and toilet block. Felt secure. Noise from the road was the only down side. A couple of dog walks from the site, lovely play park for children in the village and field for the dogs. Convenient for Duxford war museum.

An ideally placed little site on the edge of a village with outstanding views.

An ideally placed little site on the edge of a village with outstanding views. The site is all grass with electric hook ups. There is some hard standing near the barn. There is also a separate area for tents and a new cabin housing a toilet, shower and washbasin that are new since our last visit in 2013. It is kept very well and very peaceful. A short walk to The Pheasant pub in the village but they now only serve food Mon to Fri. Ideal for walking the dogs.

The views overlooking the fields and beyond were stunning, great local village go walk to, short drive to Saffron Walden as recommended by a previous review, certainly recommend Duxford(although a little pricey with donation added, although worth it, felt a little awkward with the natural assumption of wanting to pay it)and a great way of exploring the city of Cambridge using the southern park and ride(just one junction up) when we arrived on a sunny Saturday, we saw a spitfire and an American bomber flying over , ( that lovely sound of the merlin engine is humbling and amazing, the only thing that I would warn people is, when existing the site with car and especially with the caravan be very careful, as approaching cars do travel quite fast especially when they are coming to the village(from your right ) but don't let that put any body off from this LOVELY site, hopefully will be back in the near future cheers Mark & Chris

Tom was always friendly and happy to chat even though i imagine he has a mountain of work running the farm. There's a small cabin with recycle bins in but also contains boxes with useful items, books, leaflets and local info etc. locally we tried the pheasant pub excellent food and very friendly. there were bus stops in the village though we didn't see any. 2 train stations at Royston and Whitlesford parkway about 5 and 9 min to Cambridge and 25 for day rider (it was 23.50 just for a return) and an hour to London Duxford is fantastic but arrive at opening time as not enough time in a day to see it all. Royston ok for supermarkets but mostly disappointing as was lechworth garden city, Safron walden is very nice good for walks shops and just a pleasant place to be. This site is fantastic and a credit to Tom and Elle we will be returning
