Tom was always friendly and happy to chat even though i imagine he has a mountain of work running the farm. There's a small cabin with recycle bins in but also contains boxes with useful items, books, leaflets and local info etc. locally we tried the pheasant pub excellent food and very friendly. there were bus stops in the village though we didn't see any. 2 train stations at Royston and Whitlesford parkway about 5 and 9 min to Cambridge and 25 for day rider (it was 23.50 just for a return) and an hour to London Duxford is fantastic but arrive at opening time as not enough time in a day to see it all. Royston ok for supermarkets but mostly disappointing as was lechworth garden city, Safron walden is very nice good for walks shops and just a pleasant place to be. This site is fantastic and a credit to Tom and Elle we will be returning

We stayed in our camper van here for 2 nights over Easter. We were greeted on arrival and shown to our pitch and then where to find the facilities. Loved the views over towards the hills. Easy to get to and for us to use as a base as we are Geocachers and travel all over the country. It is a small site and that's what we liked about it. It is a Quiet and tranquil site and would highly recommend if this is the kind of site your looking for.

Tom & Elle made us feel welcome straight from our booking confirmation and continued this at arrival. The site is easy to reach and level throughout. Fresh drinking water is available in the main pitch/camping area and the shower and toilet building are blended or hidden into the bushes near the main house as is the CDP. Information on local attractions is available as well as local pubs, restaurants, take away outlets & shops etc. We will certainly visit again and recommend this site to others (only not the dates that we want). Tom and Elle should be proud of this simple straight forward totally relaxing site.
