A great site, extremely friendly and helpful owner. We will be back again and again.

A great site, extremely friendly and helpful owner. We will be back again and again. Only our second trip out in Morris and our first experience of a CCC certified site - I hope they are all this good. Fred the owner was very helpful, directing us to a level pitch and giving us directions through the woods to Ledbury and beyond. Eastnor Castle is only a 40 minute walk through the woods. He especially made a good impression with our little boy. The walk into Ledbury is less than 30 minutes through the woods with a vertically challenged 4yr old in tow, considerably less without. It can also be cycled since the tracks are gravel - keeps you away from the main road. Situated on the A449 into Ledbury in a woody valley that got plenty of sun on our visit. Great big sign on entrance meant you couldn't miss it - would be awkward making a u-turn anywhere close otherwise. Toilets and showers really clean and relatively new. Only cold water in the toilet, but that's no hardship. The pitches toward road are level and road noise minimal. pitches further up the site are on more of a slope which would have tested our novice levelling skills somewhat. Hook-ups all around perimeter. Every pitch appeared to have a new picnic bench which was great. Recycling facilities limited but sufficient for our stay. Also a water point that you could drive the van right up to, no need for long hoses here. We only live half an hour away and will certainly be back again. Definitely worth a look if touring the area.

Tremendous hosts. Lovely situation, mixture of flat or sloping grass pitches. Tremendous value for money. Would go again. Ideal for walkers and cyclists. Near Malverns, Hereford, Symonds Yat. Although near a road it was not a problem. Owners so friendly and helpful. A great little site.
