Fishing on site and walking and cycling in the nearby Malvern Hills & Wye Valley.

If it’s adventure in the great outdoors you’re seeking, then head to our multi award-winning Hereford Club campsite. The Malvern Hills and Wye Valley, the Black Mountains and the Forest of Dean, all ripe for adventure, are within striking distance of our campsite near the popular county town of the same name.

18 hole Golf Course and Driving Range complete with cafe and bar, located 2 miles from site.

Equally the campsite’s idyllic rural location, next to The Millpond – a stunning three-and-a-half acre fishing lake – makes it perfect for a relaxing break or simply to explore the many attractions of the area at leisure.

A lovely tree-lined driveway delivers you to our attractive Hereford campsite. The vast site caters for up to 102 units. Some of the spacious pitches overlook the fishing lake. The excellent facilities include modern amenity blocks, a playing field and a dog walk.

The pedestrianized streets of the quiet market town of Hereford are perfect for an afternoon’s stroll. The town has many black and white buildings, including the Old House. The cathedral is worth a look as is the Cider museum which offers tours. The Herefordshire Cider Route, a driving or cycling tour of the county’s farms, orchards and pubs, starts from here.

The Elgar Route is another driving trail that takes in over 40 places of interest relating to the composor’s life and music.

Head to Ross-on-Wye for Goodrich Castle, a red-sandstone stronghold. A little over two miles south, Symonds Yat is a popular beauty spot overlooking the River Wye.

If you'd like to go glamping then Hereford Ready Camp is the perfect choice. (Please note that, although we welcome dogs on this site, in the interest of all guests we do not permit pets to stay within the Ready Camp tents).

Beautiful site in a peaceful setting. Facilities are quite compact but beautifully kept.

Beautiful site in a peaceful setting. Facilities are quite compact but beautifully kept. Never had to wait for showers which are of the push button type with hot water at just the right temperature. Lovely to see seasonal flower and plants in the baskets around the site, even on the fences around the water taps. There is a local pub ( Tarrington Arms)about 15 minutes walk from the site in Tarrington village. Very friendly welcome from locals and landlord but does not do food. Plenty of others though a short drive away. There are nice forest walks on the site around the small fishing lake with a variety of water birds and wild rabbits hopping around. If you come in springtime there is a mass of daffodils everywhere. All in all a delightful get away from it all relaxing site

We had booked for a fortnight but stayed an extra 2 days as it was a fantastic site. Husband enjoyed the fishing, dog enjoyed his walks and I loved the peace and quiet. Ledbury not too far away for shopping but no dogs allowed on buses which was a bit of a pain. Golf club up the road do fantastic breakfasts. We will be back as staff so friendly and the showers were spotless

from the staff to the amenities this site is perfect, some may say you have to press the shower button more than once i say it works its wet and does the job, what makes a site perfect for me is the way you are treated by the staff and here they are more than helpful, also the pitches are well maintained, to sum up a great holiday, great fishing ,be back next year so save site 12 for the man with little legs. thank you all.

From first impressions dealing with Judy on the site for the booking, the reception staff on arrival and the overall experience we were very pleased with our first visit to a club site, special mention must go to Brian Smith one of the wardens/water bailiff for his help when we had a water supply problem with our unit, who went out of his way to help us, his knowledge and help on the fishing lake was more efficient than some professional guides. The site is situated close to ledbury and Hereford ideal to let the wife or husband go shopping whilst you relax Lakeside, a very peaceful setting, excellent dog walking facilities, and local to the Trumpet public house serving fine ales and good food, luckily we have found our perfect weekend retreat.
