Fishing on site and walking and cycling in the nearby Malvern Hills & Wye Valley.

If it’s adventure in the great outdoors you’re seeking, then head to our multi award-winning Hereford Club campsite. The Malvern Hills and Wye Valley, the Black Mountains and the Forest of Dean, all ripe for adventure, are within striking distance of our campsite near the popular county town of the same name.

Equally the campsite’s idyllic rural location, next to The Millpond – a stunning three-and-a-half acre fishing lake – makes it perfect for a relaxing break or simply to explore the many attractions of the area at leisure.

A lovely tree-lined driveway delivers you to our attractive Hereford campsite. The vast site caters for up to 102 units. Some of the spacious pitches overlook the fishing lake. The excellent facilities include modern amenity blocks, a playing field and a dog walk.

The pedestrianized streets of the quiet market town of Hereford are perfect for an afternoon’s stroll. The town has many black and white buildings, including the Old House. The cathedral is worth a look as is the Cider museum which offers tours. The Herefordshire Cider Route, a driving or cycling tour of the county’s farms, orchards and pubs, starts from here.

The Elgar Route is another driving trail that takes in over 40 places of interest relating to the composor’s life and music.

Head to Ross-on-Wye for Goodrich Castle, a red-sandstone stronghold. A little over two miles south, Symonds Yat is a popular beauty spot overlooking the River Wye.

We have been to this site three times this year and every time we have really enjoyed ourselves. Andrew and Theresa and very friendly as is all the staff and they make you feel 'at home'. They were particularly supportive when we lost one of our dogs 'Molly' during our stay there, and now we visit Molly everytime we visit. They are constantly striving to make improvements such as resiting a footpath to the main road where you can catch the bus into Ledbury, Hereford and farther afield. The site is spotless, well cared for and the fishing is excellent. We recommend this site to everyone we meet. Thank you 'Millpond' for making our stays memorable and we will definitely see you next year. Hope 2015 has been a successful year for you as I am sure it has and that 2016 is even better. Can't wait. Lynda & Keith

Everything's clean, tidy and works well. Great staff.

Everything's clean, tidy and works well. Great staff. A very small shop but we came for a holiday not a shopping trip so brought food with us anyway. Site's location is great if you want to visit Hereford or Ledbury or tour the superb Wye Valley. If you're into wildlife take the time to visit Gigrin Farm too, about an hour away - brilliant! We had a great break here and wouldn't hesitate to come back again. Thank you!

We had three nights here an really enjoyed it. The site has lovely large pitches well spaced out and never felt cramped. There is a fishing lake but you are not allowed to walk your dog around it. Perfectly understandable but as I booked using the mobile app I had not read the full site details so my ideas of walking our little westie around the lake did not work out. Not at all the sites fault and there is a perfectly nice dog walk on site. The owners are as usual with club sites very friendly and helpful even providing a map and postcode for a suitable car park in Hereford for our motorhome. We spent a nice few hours wandering around this pleasant market town. Fish and chip van was great and very popular so be prepared to get there early. This is not a criticism more a comment as I am sure the owners are aware of it but the grass needs constant mowing and the ride on mower they use does not have a grass collector so when the grass is wet you will carry it into your unit. Overall a top site well run and we would go back without hesitation. Thanks for a great stay.

We have been to The Mill Pond site a few times over the years, the toilet / shower block is always clean & pleasant music playing what ever time of day you go in. The wardens run a small shop selling fresh bread, cakes, milk ect they keep some fishing things as well. Not to far from the site is a bus stop taking you to Hereford or Ledbury both nice shopping areas. The wardens are very helpful & friendly helping you to your pitch on site or just a friendly chat, the pitches are good sizes & not on top of each other. I would recommend this site to anyone if you fish or not we will be returning again soon.
