Fishing on site and walking and cycling in the nearby Malvern Hills & Wye Valley.

If it’s adventure in the great outdoors you’re seeking, then head to our multi award-winning Hereford Club campsite. The Malvern Hills and Wye Valley, the Black Mountains and the Forest of Dean, all ripe for adventure, are within striking distance of our campsite near the popular county town of the same name.

Equally the campsite’s idyllic rural location, next to The Millpond – a stunning three-and-a-half acre fishing lake – makes it perfect for a relaxing break or simply to explore the many attractions of the area at leisure.

A lovely tree-lined driveway delivers you to our attractive Hereford campsite. The vast site caters for up to 102 units. Some of the spacious pitches overlook the fishing lake. The excellent facilities include modern amenity blocks, a playing field and a dog walk.

The pedestrianized streets of the quiet market town of Hereford are perfect for an afternoon’s stroll. The town has many black and white buildings, including the Old House. The cathedral is worth a look as is the Cider museum which offers tours. The Herefordshire Cider Route, a driving or cycling tour of the county’s farms, orchards and pubs, starts from here.

The Elgar Route is another driving trail that takes in over 40 places of interest relating to the composor’s life and music.

Head to Ross-on-Wye for Goodrich Castle, a red-sandstone stronghold. A little over two miles south, Symonds Yat is a popular beauty spot overlooking the River Wye.

The surroundings are beautiful.

This review is for Hereford

The surroundings are beautiful. The grass is kept nice and short and the family who run the site are so friendly & accommodating. The shower block & toilet is very clean and modern. There is a local pub you can walk to, The Tarrington Arms, unfortunately it is a little run down and doesn't serve food but there are other pubs a short drive away that do serve food so not all bad. There is a very good bus service to Hereford & Ledbury with the bus stop right outside the campsite. A fish & chip van calls in a few times a week. All in all this is a great base for visiting surrounding areas. The family who own/run the site have been there a little over a year. They are very hard working and we wish them all the best for the future. Mel & Steve

A perfect site with great facilities and brilliant staff.

This review is for Hereford

A perfect site with great facilities and brilliant staff. Good sized showers with water just at the right temperature. Great disabled/family suite. Pitches set well apart with good views. Already planning to go again. Husband went fishing nearly every day and caught his biggest fish ever. Then caught even bigger ones on other days! He was in angler's heaven! Our caravan was only 100 yards from his fishing peg, so easy to keep him topped up with coffee and bacon butties. The Millpond is such a lovely lake that it is great to just sit and look at, even if you don't fish. Wifi was cheap and worked well, so that kept me happy. Can recommend the local sausages from the club shop. Bus for Hereford is handy and easier than parking. Hereford Cathedral well worth visiting to see Magna Carta and Mappa Mundi. Cathedral tour and separate tour up the tower were great. Hampton Court Castle has smashing gardens, great for kids. Leominster is antique hunters' heaven, but note that all the antique shops and tearooms shut at 4pm.

As a "high maintenance", new camper I really must recommend Hereford camping and caravan club site. The site and its staff are just fantastic. Ideally placed between Ledbury and Hereford; nearby to a couple of nice pubs and with the most amazing lake (if you're into fishing) this was just a perfect mini break that I wish had been longer. I can't wait to go back. ??

We used the site for a one night stop-over. We found the staff friendly and helpful and the small shop was useful. Despite the site being very busy the facilities were kept in good order. The MHS was a real bonus.
