Fishing on site and walking and cycling in the nearby Malvern Hills & Wye Valley.

If it’s adventure in the great outdoors you’re seeking, then head to our multi award-winning Hereford Club campsite. The Malvern Hills and Wye Valley, the Black Mountains and the Forest of Dean, all ripe for adventure, are within striking distance of our campsite near the popular county town of the same name.

18 hole Golf Course and Driving Range complete with cafe and bar, located 2 miles from site.

Equally the campsite’s idyllic rural location, next to The Millpond – a stunning three-and-a-half acre fishing lake – makes it perfect for a relaxing break or simply to explore the many attractions of the area at leisure.

A lovely tree-lined driveway delivers you to our attractive Hereford campsite. The vast site caters for up to 102 units. Some of the spacious pitches overlook the fishing lake. The excellent facilities include modern amenity blocks, a playing field and a dog walk.

The pedestrianized streets of the quiet market town of Hereford are perfect for an afternoon’s stroll. The town has many black and white buildings, including the Old House. The cathedral is worth a look as is the Cider museum which offers tours. The Herefordshire Cider Route, a driving or cycling tour of the county’s farms, orchards and pubs, starts from here.

The Elgar Route is another driving trail that takes in over 40 places of interest relating to the composor’s life and music.

Head to Ross-on-Wye for Goodrich Castle, a red-sandstone stronghold. A little over two miles south, Symonds Yat is a popular beauty spot overlooking the River Wye.

This site is perfect for a relaxing break,my wife and I live only 50 minutes away and always look forward to returning for the occasional weekend chill out.The wardens are really friendly and always greet us well, then leave us to enjoy our stay but make a presence of walking round the site checking all is well. Can't fault this site even our dogs love the walks (good area for dogs off lead) but just a suggestion maybe gate each end of dog walk so not to allow dogs to run through onto the site road. Fishing lake on site is tranquil even if you don't fish, definitely return again enjoy every minute of our stay's here regards Mr and Mrs Beddard.

We are quite new to caravaning only staying at another site in the Forest of Dean for a few weekend breaks, so coming somewhere new was an adventure. As soon as we arrived we were met by Andrew. After enquiring what type of pitch we were after he escorted us on his bike, while telling us that as it was a Friday the Fish and Chip shop van would be arriving in the early evening. What a bargain. The site itself is in pristine condition, with our three dogs enjoying the walk that is set up with dog bins around the site. There is such a diverse selection of trees, of which my favourite was the edible cherrys. The facilities were spotless and new, with some great touches, such as piped music and a j-cloth dispenser in the plate wash area. We will be definitely coming back and visiting this site again.

Hereford site must be one one crown Jewels of the club whether you wish to go fishing or just enjoy the scenery. You have a lovely walk around the lake with some seating wild life is very good. If you wish to travel about you have lovely Ledbury 10 minutes away with local shops and cafes also for the bigger shop you have a Tesco. Hereford is also a very nice town plenty of shops sport centre swimming. if you want to go further a field but not too far Monmouth / Ross on Wye well worth a visit. You are not far from Malvern or if you like go into Wales plenty of nice places to see like Raglan Castle there is a cafe at Raglan Castle we would certainly the ploughman's Lunch its very good they give you that much you may need a doggy bag for what you cannot eat but whatever you like without travelling too far there is something for for every one young or old and a beautiful site to return to at the end of the day.

This was our second stay here, we like the area, and we were taking part in a kite festival at Berrington Hall. The welcome was friendly and helpful, and we were offered a nice location for the tent overlooking the central grass area and the hills beyond. The facilities are all good at the site and are kept spotlessly clean. It was nice to stroll around the millpond, especially in the cool of the evening. We liked Berrington Hall - a National Trust property in a superb setting, north of Leominster.
