Overview

This is a Certificated Site (CS). These select sites are small, privately run campsites that operates under the Club’s jurisdiction and can only accommodate up to 5 caravans or motorhomes and up to 10 trailer tents or tents, unless express permission has been given by the Club to accommodate more. They range from secluded Hideaways to fully facilitated family friendly sites, and are often found in locations where larger commercial sites are prohibited so you could be camping close to a beach or in the National Park, for example.

Our family has farmed here for over 70 years so we feel we pretty-well know every blade of grass! We have always felt very lucky to live in such a beautiful place and we want to share it with visitors of all ages. In 2005 we joined Defras environmental stewardship scheme and have made our farm an accessible and enjoyable place to visit. We have renovated stone buildings that now house our own ice cream parlour, a cafe and small shop. A new certified campsite compliments this. We have sown a wildflower meadow, layed down paths through a native-species garden extending into ancient semi-natural woodland, restored our orchard and hedges, and have made many other changes that enhance the conservation and bio-diversity of this area. Our project is supported by grant-aid from Defras Rural Enterprise Scheme. We hope you will come and visit us. Mark and Mary Williams

A lovely site on the Welsh/English border with excellent shower, washroom and toilet facilities. The Rowlestone Court site enjoys beautiful views of the Black Mountains and is situated of a quite country road. The showers, washrooms and toilets were all clean and well cared for by the owners. I visited late in the season and Mark could not have been more helpful in ensuring that I had an excellent pitch for my stay. Both Mark and Mary were also very helpful in giving me directions, along with tips on where to park, in order that I could walk part of the Offa's Dyke Way. I would warmly recommend this site to other members.

Rowlestone Court is a lovely site and great for families.

Rowlestone Court is a lovely site and great for families. The location is very peaceful and extremely picturesque - the view from the site is stunning. The facilities are of a good standard and kept very clean. There are only two showers and two toilets, but we never had to queue the whole weekend so was more than adequate. The shower was not temperate controlled though and too hot for our children. The childrens' playground was well equipped and the zip wire in the woods was a nice surprise. The ice cream from the farm shop was absolutely lovely. The surrounding area would best suit walkers/active people. We are not and with a dog in tow we found it a little lacking for wet weather activities.

This site is set in beautiful countryside, great play area for the kids and fantastic adventure trail in the woods. Facilities were new and very clean, just think there should be more of them. The site was fairly busy but not full, and we still had to wait for showers and washing up etc. I would still definitely recommend this site and definitely return. The ice cream is divine and llangorse lake is well worth a visit.
