    Top site for beaches

Explore the beauty of England's south coast from our campsite.

With cycling and walking trails in abundance, miles of sandy beaches, bustling towns, pretty chocolate box villages and a host of family attractions within a short distance our Chichester Club Campsite offers something for everyone.

Chichester is a small, welcoming campsite. Once an orchard it has a relaxing ambience and is an ideal setting for kicking back and relaxing after a hectic day exploring the area.

Head across the road on foot or two wheels to enjoy the paths to the coast and Chichester harbour. Or catch a bus from outside the site to Chichester (great for shopping), Bognor, Littlehampton and Brighton in one direction and Southampton and Portsmouth (with the Spinnaker Tower, Gunwharf Keys and the Historic Dockyard) in the other.

For a bucket and space day head to the Blue Flag beach at West Wittering where you’ll find sand dunes, sheltered waters and acres of space. East Head and Selsey too are great for lazy beach days.

Worth Noting

Electric security barriers in operation. Please note there is no parking for visitors and, because of the narrow entrance road, there are no overnight parking facilities.

Eat Local

Chichester hosts a farmers' market twice a month. Southbourne farm shop near to site sells a range of local products and the Tupenny Barn sells organic fruit and vegetables.

My husband and I stayed on this site for 7 nights in our touring caravan.

This review is for Chichester

My husband and I stayed on this site for 7 nights in our touring caravan. We found the site to be very well kept, very clean and well maintained with friendly and helpful staff. It's true about the apples, but they didn't affect us due to us being at the front of the the site adjacent to the road, and that is where the problem lies. The A259 is a very busy road with lots of buses and lorries using it as well as a constant stream of cars and the road noise is apalling. The three pitches at the front of the site, one of which we were pitched on is approximatley 15-20 feet from the road, separated from it by a hedge and a narrow footpath. We found it to be impossible to sit outside and hear each other speak, or to hear the television or radio in the caravan if any windows were open, which they needed to be due to the fact that the temperatures hit 32' while we were staying. Come on Camping and Caravan Club give your members a break and don't use the three pitches near the road, you are taking the mickey expecting people to put up with this type of noise. Unfortunately we won't stay here again, there are plenty of quieter and cheaper campsites in this area.

We spent an enjoyable week at this site.

We spent an enjoyable week at this site. Access is direct from the main road so no "scary" single track roads to negotiate. Very good bus service just outside the site with regular buses to Chichester and beyond and also to Portsmouth. Really good Farm shop just a few hundred yards away from the site. Very good pub close to the site serving good meals - we ate there 3 times ! Lots of things to do in the local area. We hope to return.

We had four nights very clean site with very helpful staff, my husband fell ill on the Sunday night and was taken into hospital unfortunately we should have been leaving on the Monday morning they would have made room for us if he hadn't been released. It turned out the hospital let him out mid morning with lots of medication. They couldn't have been more helpful which took alot of worry away, I would definitely go back
