Top site for beaches
Explore the beauty of England's south coast from our campsite.
With cycling and walking trails in abundance, miles of sandy beaches, bustling towns, pretty chocolate box villages and a host of family attractions within a short distance our Chichester Club Campsite offers something for everyone.
Chichester is a small, welcoming campsite. Once an orchard it has a relaxing ambience and is an ideal setting for kicking back and relaxing after a hectic day exploring the area.
Head across the road on foot or two wheels to enjoy the paths to the coast and Chichester harbour. Or catch a bus from outside the site to Chichester (great for shopping), Bognor, Littlehampton and Brighton in one direction and Southampton and Portsmouth (with the Spinnaker Tower, Gunwharf Keys and the Historic Dockyard) in the other.
For a bucket and space day head to the Blue Flag beach at West Wittering where you’ll find sand dunes, sheltered waters and acres of space. East Head and Selsey too are great for lazy beach days.
Electric security barriers in operation. Please note there is no parking for visitors and, because of the narrow entrance road, there are no overnight parking facilities.
100% coverage cannot be guaranteed due to rural location, weather conditions and changing flora or fauna. These can cause variable signal strength. Hotspots are available. Prices.
Chichester hosts a farmers' market twice a month. Southbourne farm shop near to site sells a range of local products and the Tupenny Barn sells organic fruit and vegetables.

We had a really enjoyable stay. This site is in an excellent situation for visiting Portsmouth, Chichester, the Sussex Downs, the I.o.W. (day trip) etc. There is a first rate bus service from just outside the gate. In Portsmouth don't forget the Anglican Cathedral in the Old Town. The Weald and Downland Open Air Museum at Singleton is not to be missed. For an evening's trip go down the road to lovely Bosham.
Apart from one uncharacteristically officious response, the staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful.
The one negative is that for such an expensive site the facilities are poor and inadequate - morning queues for the gents loos; broken, dirty and loose ceiling tiles; extremely short timing on the push-button showers, the floors of which collect clothes-soaking puddles because the drainage grids are higher than the floor. Surely with these fees the club can also afford to put in a fresh water tap at the top end of the site.

lovely campsite. Small but everything in its place.
On a very slight incline . Shower area as expected. suggestion as in most campsites. More hooks in shower cubicle.
Bus stop outside camp to Chichester or Portsmouth with links to further away.Very prompt and every 20 mins. took our bikes and although the road had a cycle path it ran at edge of very busy main road.
Nice walks to coastline areas . Train station a few hundred yards away.
Enjoyes our break thank you

Have used this campsite twice before to visit Goodwood festival of speed and have away's enjoyed welcome friendly service we have come to expect at caravan and camping sites, But the new owners this year were I found a bit hostile and abrupt the pitch we were given was closed to road and the noise was unbearable shame really because this used to be a very nice friendly site and because of this we will not be returning next year.

Marked right down on facilities as those fixed temperature showers are set FAR FAR to hot. I want a shower to refresh and invigorate me (especially in this hot weather), not scald me and leave me sweating more than I was when I started.
I didn't take the water temperature but I would say they are verging on a health and safety issue!
