Overview

  • Campsites next to or within walking distance of a beach

    Top site for beaches

Explore the beauty of England's south coast from our campsite.

With cycling and walking trails in abundance, miles of sandy beaches, bustling towns, pretty chocolate box villages and a host of family attractions within a short distance our Chichester Club Campsite offers something for everyone.

Chichester is a small, welcoming campsite. Once an orchard it has a relaxing ambience and is an ideal setting for kicking back and relaxing after a hectic day exploring the area.

Head across the road on foot or two wheels to enjoy the paths to the coast and Chichester harbour. Or catch a bus from outside the site to Chichester (great for shopping), Bognor, Littlehampton and Brighton in one direction and Southampton and Portsmouth (with the Spinnaker Tower, Gunwharf Keys and the Historic Dockyard) in the other.

For a bucket and space day head to the Blue Flag beach at West Wittering where you’ll find sand dunes, sheltered waters and acres of space. East Head and Selsey too are great for lazy beach days.

Worth Noting

Electric security barriers in operation. Please note there is no parking for visitors and, because of the narrow entrance road, there are no overnight parking facilities.

WiFi

100% coverage cannot be guaranteed due to rural location, weather conditions and changing flora or fauna. These can cause variable signal strength. Hotspots are available. Prices.

Eat Local

Chichester hosts a farmers' market twice a month. Southbourne farm shop near to site sells a range of local products and the Tupenny Barn sells organic fruit and vegetables.

This visit was our first adventure in our caravan.

This review is for Chichester

This visit was our first adventure in our caravan. We used the app to book and found all as described. If you have children that need a play area, this is not the site for you. We have children, but had planned trips to the Historic Naval Dockyards, wanting to see the Mary Rose, HMS Victory and HMS Alliance. The site is perfect for these attractions, as you can use the train 0.5 miles away. The site was clean, tidy and quiet. There was no noise from the main road and the train caused no issues. Staff: very welcoming and helpful. We had issues with our electrics and the staff were good enough to help us out: even bringing a meter to check circuits. Thanks to the staff, we were able to stay and enjoy the holiday. If you fancy a meal in an unusual place, check out The Woodmancote in Woodmancote village was fab. Fishbourne Roman Palace is very close by, not well advertised and well worth a visit, good for a rainy day.
