With lush greenery in every direction, you are sure to feel a reconnection with nature from this campsite. It’s also on the edge of the Cotswolds, making it the ideal base to explore the photogenic towns and villages of this unique region.


    Getting back to nature

    This tranquil campsite accepts all camping unit types and offers modern toilet and shower facilities to help make for a stress-free camping experience. There’s a fishing lake in the centre of the site with some lake-side pitches available (an Environment Agency rod licence is required to fish), and it’s just over a mile from a lovely local pub.


    Striking surrounds

    Walkers will love this location, with the Winchcombe Way running adjacent to the site. For those wanting to explore local towns, Winchcombe itself is pretty and home to many great restaurants. A little further afield, Cheltenham will impress with Regency houses, award-winning gardens, and some of the best shopping you’ll find in this part of the country.

    Hailes Abbey

    Hailes Abbey was founded in the picturesque Cotswolds countryside in 1246 by the Earl of Cornwall. Once an important monastery, all that is left today are tranquil ruins. Pick up one of the free audio guides and let the narrator re-erect the ruins and take you on a journey through its fascinating history.

    Sudeley Castle

    One of the few castles in England that remains a private residence, Sudeley Castle is a 15th century fort that is famed for being the burial place of Henry VIII’s sixth wife, Catherine Parr.

    Cheltenham Racecourse

    The iconic home of jump racing, Cheltenham Racecourse is nestled among the rolling Cotswold Hills and is a fantastic day out for the entire family. The racecourse offers an array of events throughout the year, including the Festival, four days every horse-racing fan looks forward to.

    Broadway Tower

    Designed by Capability Brown and built in 1798, Broadway Tower is a Saxon tower that holds the title for best viewpoint in the Cotswolds. The tower’s rooms are now open to visitors that want to learn about its most famous residents, Sir Thomas Phillips and William Morris.
