Absolutely incredible site set in the peaceful village of Easthorpe just a mile of the A12 and really quiet the ideal site for a peaceful weekend away from it all. Inger your host is amazing really helpful and a wealth of knowledge for local things to do and see, onsite water hook up electric 16 amp level pitch with no chocks or wedges what more could you ask for just pull up and start enjoying the site. As this was our first visit to this site we aim to come back and stay again! Thank you Inger for such a lovely stay.

Beautiful site, ideally suited for what we had planned, facilities kept pristine. Site owner most welcoming and helpful. This site is a real gem, level grass pitches, facilities are attached to the owner's house and were adequate when we were there. They were kept spotlessly clean by the owner. We had two meals at The Coach & Horses in Birch and enjoyed both. We visited Layer Marney Tower (Note: it does not open until 12.00) Flatford Mill and Beth Chatto's Garden, all well worth a visit. I would not recommend returning to the A12 by the route given in Siteseeker as it involves turning onto a busy dual carriage way. I would suggest driving north to Stanway and joining the A12 or A120 there.

Lovely peaceful site Follow the directions given which is to approach from the A12 (southbound) through Easthorpe and you will have no problems. Site access from road is good and we were met by Inger and given options for our pitch as opposed to directed. Site is level, sheltered and well laid out with several secluded options for campers or small units. EHU and water are well sited, chemical waste is beside the toilet / shower area at the rear of the main house there is also a washing machine for all to use and a fridge freezer for campers . Inger is like the perfect host / waiter always around but not noticed until you need something. Nothing is too much trouble and there is always a ready smile. The site / area is very quiet except for the wildlife which is mainly birds with the odd rabbit or two. We saw a pair of Red Kites everday with numerous other birds coming and going. Mobile reception is poor but that can be viewed as a plus or minus go half mile from site and you are fine. Would I recommend this site 'absolutely' (just not when I want to go next time)

Lovely adult only site Site is adjacent to owners house and garden. It is surrounded by fields and very peaceful. The site is sheltered and lots of trees and planting to give a very pleasant camping field. It was lovely to be woken by dawn chorus. The toilets and shower based in annexe of owners house. Very clean. Will be more than happy to return. Please note that there are two gates to enter site onto the driveway. The left for caravans, the right for cars and pedestrians.
