Beautiful location and stunning scenery around.

This review is for Cashel - Loch Lomond

Beautiful location and stunning scenery around. The campsite is very well maintained and clean and was very quiet. We had no issues and the staff were all friendly. All pitches are hard standing so you will deffinately need rock pegs and a good mallet. A perfect place to stay to walk the West Highland way. You will need a good insect repellent as that is the only downside to staying here.

Having stayed on several occasions over many years at Cashel I find the comments about friendly and helpful staff hard to believe as genuine. I have seen many wardens come and go but the last appointment proved to be too much to bear and as a result regular campers now avoid this beautiful spot. Having spoken to a lot of the seasonal campers they in particular were treated very poorly. Such a shame as it is a lovely place and dear to my heart !

Stayed on this site for 2 night, received a great welcome from the wardens whom were very helpful, pitched on a select pitch right by the shoreline, excellent views even in the rain! Great walking area, 2+ mile walk to local pub but worth it. Site facilities up to date very clean. Remote and quiet site well worth braving the access road
