This review is for Cashel - Loch Lomond

I have either taken a tent, motorhome, or used a caravan for my whole life, and as a kid, we used to go to Cashel Campsite with a tent and the boat. I am now taking my partner, and my son, again with the ten and boat, and can not express how nice the staff are, how clean the facilities are, and how beautiful the campsite and views are. We are making a habit of coming to this camp site each year with the boat. We can Highly recommend it. It is also Dog friendly as well.

We love to visit the beautiful shores of loch lomond.

This review is for Cashel - Loch Lomond

We love to visit the beautiful shores of loch lomond. I find the staff Lazy! They do Not greet you. You have to find your own pitch then go back up to the reception to make sure it's available? Why is this Not arranged better? The toilet facilities outside are horrendous! Of course you expect spider's & all the little creatures of the day. However it's absolutely ridiculous the amount there! In the Disabled shower they where Everywhere! They where falling onto my partner as he showered. I Honestly took a panic attack at the site & could NOT walk in. A simple clean is what I would suggest. After visiting other campsites, I feel the hygiene here is Definitely not to standards. There's a lot of people who are aracnaphobic & this should be taken into account. The showers are so hot that the children Must be careful. Also beware of the Midges & moths. So many at night. I would recommend this IF you are alright with a village of creepy crawlies, as that's what it felt like. Shame as views are breathtaking.

Came to visit friends who were staying at Cashell site in their caravan.

This review is for Cashel - Loch Lomond

Came to visit friends who were staying at Cashell site in their caravan. I was greeted by an extremely rude, arrogant woman member of staff who wanted ?3 to park the car and ?2 each per adult entering the site. As I only wanted to stay for half an hour I refused to pay this. She then wouldn't open the gate into the site to allow me to turn the car around. I then went to park my car on the road outside, to which she threatened to call the police to have it moved off the road. There is no way on earth I would stay at a site like this, it's supposed to be a holiday not a prison.

Beautiful location and stunning scenery around.

This review is for Cashel - Loch Lomond

Beautiful location and stunning scenery around. The campsite is very well maintained and clean and was very quiet. We had no issues and the staff were all friendly. All pitches are hard standing so you will deffinately need rock pegs and a good mallet. A perfect place to stay to walk the West Highland way. You will need a good insect repellent as that is the only downside to staying here.
