Stayed on this site for 2 night, received a great welcome from the wardens whom were very helpful, pitched on a select pitch right by the shoreline, excellent views even in the rain! Great walking area, 2+ mile walk to local pub but worth it. Site facilities up to date very clean. Remote and quiet site well worth braving the access road

we dropped in to cashel while out for a drive, we do this to check out sites we may like to visit with our caravan in the near future. out of courtesy I went to reception to ask permission to have a little walk around and explained to the woman than we are ccc members and she said NO! I was totally taken aback, she has lost her employer good business and obviously has not heard of scottish hospitality. I am embarrassed that tourists would come across staff like this and not realise she is in the minority!

We arrived of off a bumpy pot holed road into the site. The site is idyllic in woodland and we camped right onto the water with beautiful Views over the lake. We paid a little extra for this pitch but it was worth it. The showers and loos clean and warm. Impressed by the recycling rubbish centre. Disappointed with the grey waste disposal point as it was just about impossible to move the metal cover. Stayed two nights. Great walks for dogs including the walks in the natural woodland centre. Would stay again
