Idyllic campsite that is within walking distance of key lamenities but secluded BT a small lake. Excellent hosts who look after their camper
Great secluded campsite that is ideal for those who enjoy the outdoors with their dogs. Good local shop in the village and quality beach at Rigg Bay. Great bus service from the village of Garlieston to the north or south. The owners of this site and very friendly and helpful and I can see why people return to this haven year after year

Brilliant site and we all had a good time walking in the area.
We had a huge pitch for our <6m motorhome, electric hook-up right next to us and water top up close by.
There is plenty of room for all those pitched and is beautifully secluded from the neighbouring areas by the tress and pond.
Easy access to walks in all directions from the site and our dogs loved every minute of their stay there as much as we did.
We have already decided, we will be back.

This review is for Garlieston Lodge
Our favourite CS site. Beautiful surroundings, friendly welcome!
This is our favourite site bar none. We camp here at least 3 times a year. The site is beautifully maintained, with lots of wildlife. It feels like a private oasis with a large fishing pond. However just outside the site is the village, with beach and harbour. There are plenty of walks direct from site.
The pitches are spacious, all with hook up, with gravel for excellent drainage, we would recommend using a ground sheet or foot print. A warm welcome is guaranteed here for both people and dogs.
This is a lovely site with great facilities, what's not to like!

We were made very welcome at this peaceful and clean site
We had a lovely peaceful 2 nights here, the facilities were very clean, especially the lighting system to indicate when the toilet or shower was in use. A great place for a peaceful break or coastal walks, also a warm welcome at the Harbour Inn and good food too, highly recommended and would definitely visit again sometime.
