Handy for Poole, Bournemouth and the sandy beaches of the south coast.

The seaside resorts of the south coast and the beautiful New Forest are all within easy reach of our Verwood Club campsite. Situated around seven miles west of the New Forest, Verwood offers tranquil setting to camp.

The campsite, bordered by trees offers a mix of hardstanding and grass pitches. Its newly refurbished facilities include a family shower room and, a well-equipped washing up and laundry area. For younger campers there is a play area and a games room with snooker table and board games. Dogs and their owners will enjoy the wooded dog walk.

You won’t be short of things to do from this campsite. If you’re planning to explore the New Forest, head to Lyndhurst and the New Forest Centre and Museum. Two miles from here is the New Forest Reptile Centre where you could see all of Britain’s reptiles in one place. The forest more than caters for walkers and cyclists with miles of way-marked tracks.

Beaulieu National Motor Museum, Palace House and Abbey, Bucklers Hard and the spectacular Exbury Gardens are popular days out from the site. Families will particularly enjoy Splashdown Water Park, Paultons Family Theme Park and the Moors Valley Country Park (including Go Ape!).

Just a sixteen mile drive from the campsite delivers you to the sandy beaches of the Bournemouth and Poole area.

Ready Camp is available at this campsite. (Please note that, although we welcome dogs on this site, in the interest of all guests we do not permit pets to stay within the Ready Camp tents).

Picked the site on the back of a late booking and a place we will definitely return to.

Picked the site on the back of a late booking and a place we will definitely return to. Only difficulty was mobile signal and found site WiFi was extremely unreliable. All things considered, a fabulous place to take family to and big enough to book as a group with numerous hookups on grass/hardstanding

Sandbanks at Poole, brilliant beach. Found Furzey Gardens which was a great find. My 4 yr old loved hunting for fairy doors in the gardens. Great for young and old. Gardens won gold at Chelsea. Love the New Forest. Coming back I July, can't wait!

This was our first stay on a Caravan and Camping site as we had just joined the Club and wanted to try a site in the New Forest. On arrival we were led to the pitch by one of the wardens who made sure we knew where all the amenities were and advised us that there was to be a visiting mobile pizza van that evening. The rain poured down so we whipped up for pizza and it was excellent....reasonably priced, very tasty and a nice treat. The toilets and showers were clean and although on one day of our stay there was an issue with the boiler, there were clear signs detailing the issue and the times that hot water would not be available. Not a problem at all because we were warned in advance. The outdoor games near the rec room were enjoyed by our children and the wardens even came over to spend a few minutes with them when they were playing chess. We had a bimble on the dog walk and it was pleasant among the trees.A nice walk for those of us with dogs. The site is close to Moors Valley where once you have paid the days parking you are free to wander around the woods and the trails and there's a fabulous play trail that take you through the woods to various climbing structures ideal for children to explore. It is dog friendly and ideal for taking bikes. We had a wonderful time at the site and have returned home with two very tired children and two worn out dogs.
