The best campsite for a relaxing time, Secluded pitches and the owners John and Bill are Lovely!! This by far our favourite campsite. We come here whenever we can and it is easy to get to.There are several secluded spots with plenty of room.We especially love the summer field as it gets plenty of sun and there is plenty of shade under the beautiful trees on a hot day. There is a toilet and shower and the new kitchen area has a communal fridge which came in handy when our electrics decided to pack up, there is also a microwave and washing machine. Our friends are avid fishing fans and the well stocked lake is lovely, it is very serene and peaceful just sitting by the lake. What makes this site so special is the owners John and Bill. They are so welcoming and we have become friends with them as we have been coming here for several years now, They go out of there way to help you and always greet you when you get there. If you are looking for a relaxing, friendly and secluded site this is the one for you.

Basic A very basic site in trees which means it never dries out.

Basic A very basic site in trees which means it never dries out. Mud is everywhere, on the pitches and on the paths and drives. I'm glad I have a good bathroom in my caravan as I would not have wanted to use the facilities. I won't be coming again.

Where is it? We have just arrived having had to drive an additional 3 miles because there was no visible sign at the entrance just a rather sorry, old club sign. Once we were able to turn round and returned, I told the person who greated us and his attitude was "I'll tell the weeds not to grow". Not the best start.
