Read previous comments with interest. Think it depends on what you expect in a site. We love places with views and walks, this ticks these boxes with ease. The facilities have all you need, the showers are hot and heated; the site is a working farm and that perhaps should be borne in mind, but we stayed out of season and didn't have any issue with the cleanliness. There was only one 'suprise' and that was in paying £1 per dog per night? Not sure why. Anyway based upon this experience would definitely go back.

This site is in a beautiful location. However it should not be classed as a cs. At one point in our stay there were 12 vans/and motorhomes instead of 5!
The views and location are really the only plus points to staying here. For the amount of people on site the facilities are lacking and do not seem cleaned or attended to every day. Toilet paper ran out Sunday night and was not replenished until Tues. Not good enough. If they are cleaned regularly this should be noticed.
The other real concern is the way they keep cramming units in to an already full site. (apart from tents which had a separate field but was never used!?!? There seems to be no regard for fire safety regulations or personal pitch space. This happened to us and several others.
Electric, as mentioned in an earlier review is trailing adapters with a cone over it for protection. This looks like how they get so many in with hook up!
Lastly - building work - it wasn't mentioned when we booked several months ago that they are building an extension adjacent to the camping field. Not a major deal however drilling and banging from 0830 and whew we got back in the evening it was going on till 2100. Not relaxing or thoughtful to start so early with holiday makers having a much needed lie in! Or to continue so late. No apology either.
I can imagine that off season with the numbers limited properly this is a real gem. Lovely views and walks from the site. Local bus service is excellent. You must take the open top bus to Portland and back to Weymouth sea front.

We have just returned after a three night break at this "CS" ???? The situation is lovely, easy access to Weymouth and walks along coastal path. However, the toilet block was filthy and was not cleaned all the time we were there. It was dirty when we arrived and still dirty when we left. Also this should not be considered a CS as they were cramming vans and tents in whereever they could...18 vans at last count plus tents, and the electrics were scarey. There was multiple adaptors with extra plug ins connected to adaptors to multiply the amount they could get in. Also there were cables running everywhere. We felt this was very overpriced at £20 per night. The people seemed very nice but don't go there expecting 5 vans only unless you are out of the high season of course.
After following directions from club guide , we could not access the field as extremely muddy. After leaving the van at the field gates , we walked across the field to the farmhouse , only to find we needed to enter via the B & B entrance .
Beautiful location , with stunning views.
There are 2 toilets & 3 showers, all looked OK , but didn't use the showers .
Could do with a window , as a slightly mouldy damp smell.
Unfortunately we could not empty our chemical toilet , as the Elsan point was totally blocked ! So had to take it home .
So lucky we were only away for 2 nights !
