Ideal location for Wareham town and site seeing the area including Corfe, Swanage, Poole Our 19ft motorhome did not have a problem accessing the narrow road and track although badly parked vehicles on East Wall made our leaving a problem until a homeowner took her wall down to help get us through! The grass pitches were solid having plenty of stone beneath. We had at least 1 very wet day but the van had no problem leaving its pitch. Secluded and sheltered within easy reach of all needs it is one place we hope to visit again.

Jeff is a good guy. We loved the site. Two issues. 1) narrow entry exit - we had to unhitch van and use motor mover to get past a badly parked car on leaving. 2) Don't go past the rope markings or you will sink as happened to two motor homes when we were there! Still its a good site if you can get past these.

This site is hard to access in a caravan without a motor mover , and if it wasn't for the other people on site who helped us physically turn the caravan we would have struggled to get out. The location is the biggest plus with a short walk to Sainsburys and local pubs , and a stroll to the river, this was not visible from the site however and the access was used by people that had boats moored up but not staying on the site. There was a padlock on the gate for security, the owner was friendly enough and when we arrived told us where to pitch as it was unclear. The chemical disposal wasn't a pleasant experience , but we had hot weather so this could of accounted for the smell . Bins were available, no recycling. Water and electric were at every pitch and this was very handy, the pitches were well maintained with nice short grass. It felt overcrowded when there were , at one point 7 caravans on the site , but the people were friendly and this made for a good stay as we helped each other move the caravans , this truly was a god send for us as we have no motor mover. All in all a good site for a campervan or a small caravan, unfortunately we will not be visiting again as we feel our caravan is too big at 21ft
