Easy access to many coastal towns and interesting in land sites too. Great centre for getting around and the site is well laid and cared for. We have visited 3 times and will no doubt return again.

Staff polite and helpful. But the site itself felt very sterile and regimented.

Staff polite and helpful. But the site itself felt very sterile and regimented. There are walks direct from site but only by walking on narrow winding lanes without verges and the traffic does not travel slowly. Best walks are accessed after short drives. Bus stop approx 20 min walk and route can take you to several coastal towns. Lovely area of the country, just wish I felt more at ease on the site.

As a motorhomer we relied on the local buses, a 15 minute walk to the bus stop took us all along the Jurassic Coast every day, thanks to our bus passes. Great walks from the site to, we walked to Charmouth, 2.5 hours, and to Axminster 1.15 hrs. The site itself is very quiet, large but split up into small secluded areas which are all very well maintained by the very friendly and helpful staff. The toilets showers and kitchen areas are modern clean well maintained with plenty of hot water. Although not on the beach it is fairly easy to reach the coast from the site, be it car walking or the bus. The are various food vans visiting the site in the evening, the fish and chips were excellent. I highly recommended the site.

This is not really a coastal site.

This review is for Charmouth

This is not really a coastal site. We did however undertake a pleasant walk to Lyme Regis (useful and clear Directions were provided by Reception staff) but it took us a couple of hours each way and coming back was much harder than getting there as it was nearly all uphill. But the views were worth it and there was lots to do in Lyme Regis - including sampling the delights of their own micro brewery at the Mill.
