Overview

This is a Certificated Site (CS). These select sites are small, privately run campsites that operates under the Club’s jurisdiction and can only accommodate up to 5 caravans or motorhomes and up to 10 trailer tents or tents, unless express permission has been given by the Club to accommodate more. They range from secluded Hideaways to fully facilitated family friendly sites, and are often found in locations where larger commercial sites are prohibited so you could be camping close to a beach or in the National Park, for example.

Our quiet campsite at Lane End has much to offer and an ideal base for exploring the beautiful south west. The entire region is in easy reach from our north Devon location, enabling you to discover the variety of beautiful coastline, woodland and moorland the stunning region offers, including historical cities, pretty villages, theme parks and more. Set in an idyllic green and leafy site, our pitches overlook two well-established ponds and woodland. We can accommodate 5 camper/caravans and 10 tents at any one time and offer eleven pitches with electric hook-ups. Options include larger pitches, one with a private pond-side deck, hard standings, private water supply and drainage. Other facilities include: waste and chemical disposal points; toilet and washbasin; wet room with sink, shower and toilet; recycling point; freezer; washing up and laundry facilities. We welcome dogs and have an enclosed dog-walk area. Barbecue facilities available.

What a lovely campsite and perfect in every way.

This review is for Lane End Farm

What a lovely campsite and perfect in every way. The pitches were large, level, and included a picnic table & benches! The whole campsite was beautifully landscaped and the facilities were immaculate; clearly the very friendly owners take a lot of pride in their site. The campsite is only a short drive to some lovely beaches (Sandymouth for example) and also to the Tarka trail for cycling. We will be back!

We spent 8 nights at this beautiful site and could easily have stayed a month! The site is owned by Jan and Richard a super friendly couple who are clearly seasoned campers, the site is essentially part of their enormous and beautifully landscaped garden but as it's not overlooked by the house and is surrounded by trees it provides the most amazing secluded site. Pitches are huge and most have carefully placed picnic tables nearby. This site really is special, it feels a privilege to stay here and share such a beautiful garden, but Richard and Jan aren't precious they genuinely want you to enjoy the place. Dogs on leads are welcomed warmly and a lovely off lead area is provided in a fenced woodland walk, where there is even firepit to enjoy a campfire. The site is very rural but very easily accessed by following the owners instructions, even with a large van towed by novices, but do not follow your Satnav if towing as some of the surrounding lanes are single track.

What a lovely spot this is. Beautifully presented.

What a lovely spot this is. Beautifully presented. We couldn't believe how peaceful it was, especially at Easter. A lovely CS set in a quiet, rural location. Richard and Jan are very welcoming and have clearly put a lot of effort into this site. Highly recommended. Easy to tow to if you follow the owners directions, blindly following a sat nav could get you into a spot of bother.
